53.144 [Machine] What he says when he gets angry, and mentioning the disagreement about Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr in the news of Ubay ibn Ka'b about it.
[Machine] Two men argued in front of the Prophet ﷺ and one of them became angry. The Prophet ﷺ said, "I know a word that if he were to say it, his anger would go away. I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed Shaytan." [151] 10150 Ahmad ibn Sulaiman informed us, he said: Husayn narrated to us from Zaidah, from Abdul Malik ibn Umayr, from Abdur Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Muadh, similar to this. 10151 Yusuf ibn Isa narrated to us, he said: Al-Fadl ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Yazid, meaning ibn Ziyad, narrated to us from Abdul Malik ibn Umayr, from Abdur Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Ubay ibn Ka'b, similar to this.
[Machine] The Prophet saw a man, so he mentioned a word that made him angry. He started to mutter and say things, so the Prophet said, "I know a word that if he were to say it, what he feels would go away. I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan."
Two men reviled each other in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ. Then the eyes of one of them became red and his jugular veins swelled. The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: I know a phrase by repeating which the man could get rid of the angry feelings: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil. The man said: Do you see insanity in me. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4781)
53.145 [Machine] Who is Al-Shaddid, and the mention of the disagreement about Al-Zuhri in the narration of Abu Hurairah about him.
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6114)
[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ and Nasr bin Ali bin Nasr informed us that Abdul A'la narrated to us from Ma'mar, from Az-Zuhri, from Humaid bin Abdul Rahman, from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The strong person is not the one who can wrestle others. Rather, the strong person is the one who can control himself when he is angry."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Indeed, the strong person is not the one who overpowers people, but the strong person is the one who controls himself."
53.146 [Machine] What does he say when he sits in a gathering where his chatter is excessive?
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever sits in a gathering where there is a lot of idle talk, then before getting up, says, 'Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdika, la ilaha illa ant, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk' (Glory be to You, O Allah, and I praise You. There is no deity except You. I seek forgiveness from You and I repent to You), he will be forgiven for whatever occurred in that gathering."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would never get up from a gathering without saying, "There is no god but You, I seek forgiveness from You and repent to You." So, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, why do you often say these words when you get up?" He said, "The one who says these words when getting up from a gathering, his sins in that gathering will be forgiven."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise. There is no deity except You," when he would rise from a gathering, and he would direct the conversation towards it.
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat in a gathering or prayed, he said some words, and 'Aishah asked him about those words. He said: "If he has spoken some good words (and he says this statement of remembrance), it will be a seal for them to preserve them until the Day of Resurrection, and if he has said something other than that, it (these words) will be an expiation for him: 'Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdika, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You.)'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1344)
“Rarely would the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stand from a sitting until he supplicated with these words for his Companions: ‘O Allah, apportion for us, fear of You, that shall come between us and disobedience of You, and of obedience to You, which shall cause us to obtain Your Paradise, and of certainty, which shall make the afflictions of the world easy for us, and enjoyment of our hearing, and our seeing, and our strength as long as You keep us alive, and make it the inheritor of us. And let our vengeance be upon those who have wronged us, and aid us against those who show enmity towards us, and do not make our affliction in our religion, and do not make this world our greatest concern, nor the limit of our knowledge, and do not give power over us to those who will not have mercy on us. (Allāhumma-qsim lanā min khashyatika mā yaḥūlu, bainanā wa baina maʿāṣīka wa min ṭāʿatika mā tuballighuna bihī jannatak, wa minal-yaqīni mā tuhawwinu bihī ʿalainā muṣībatid-dunyā, wa mattiʿna bi-asmāʿinā wa abṣārina wa quwwatina mā aḥyaytanā, wajʿalhul-wāritha minnā, wajʿal tha’ranā ʿalā man ẓalamanā, wanṣurna ʿalā man ʿādānā, wa lā tajʿal muṣībatanā fī dīninā, wa lā tajʿalid-dunyā akbara hamminā wa lā mablagha ʿilminā, wa lā tusalliṭ ʿalainā man lā yarḥamunā).’” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3502)

And from Abbas Al-Anbari, from Uthman ibn Umar, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from Ahmed ibn Harb, from Qasim, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said something similar to it.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to not narrate stories in the way you narrate them. Instead, when he sat down, he would speak in words that clarified the matter, which those who heard him would memorize.

[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a hadith that Allah benefited me with as He pleased to benefit me with, and when someone else narrated to me, I would make him swear an oath, and if he swore to me, I would believe him. Abu Bakr narrated to me and Abu Bakr is truthful. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'There is no servant who commits a sin, then gets up and performs ablution and perfects it, then prays two Rak'ahs and seeks forgiveness from Allah, except that Allah forgives him.'" Abu Dawood narrated to us, Ahmad bin Sulaiman narrated to us, Ja'far bin 'Awn narrated to us, Mus'ab narrated to us, and Harun bin Ishaq narrated to me from Muhammad from Mus'ab from 'Uthman bin al-Mughirah from Ali bin Rabiah from Asma bin Hakam from Ali similar to this. And he said regarding it, Abu Bakr narrated to me and Abu Bakr is truthful, 'Verily, there is no man who commits...' and so on.

I heard ‘Ali say: If I heard a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Allah benefitted me as He willed thereby. If someone else told me something from him I would ask him to swear, and if he swore I would believe him. Abu Bakr told me - and Abu Bakr told the truth - that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: ʿThere is no believer who commits a sin, then does wudooʿ and does it well and prays two rak'ahs and asks Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, for forgiveness but Allah will forgive him.ʿ Then he recited the verse: ʿAnd those who, when they have committed Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves...ʿ (Al ‘Imran 3:135). the Messenger of Allah said: “Verily, when the slave (of Allah) commits a sin, a black spot appears on his heart. When he refrains from it, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart is polished clean. But if he returns, it increases until it covers his entire heart. And that is the ‘Ran’ which Allah mentioned: ‘Nay, but on their hearts is the Ran which they used to earn.’” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3334)

He then again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me my sin, and Allah, the Exalted and High, said: My servant committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who would forgive his sin or would take (him) to account for the sin. He again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me for my sin, and Allah (the Exalted and High) said: My servant sas committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who forgives the sins or takes (him) to account for sin.
