[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught him, his son, to say these words when facing difficulty and said, 'My son, I have protected you from Hasan and Husayn and chosen you for them. We used to ask him to teach us these words, but he would keep them secret from us until he married his daughter. So, we took her to a place until we were close to the hill, and he bid her farewell while she was on her mount. I recognized that he was teaching her those words that he had kept secret from us. Then he turned away from her and we departed until we were close to the mile marker. I lagged behind, feeling as if I was pouring water, then I ran and said, 'O daughter of my cousin, I have come to know that your father has left us to teach you the words that he kept secret from us.' She said, 'Yes.' I said, 'Tell me of them.' She said, 'He forbade me from informing anyone about them.' I said, 'I ask you by Allah, except for what you have informed me, lest I never see you again after this incident.' She said, 'He left me and then said to me, "My daughter, your father taught me certain words that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught him to say when facing hardship. He said, 'I have chosen you for these words, excluding Hasan and Husayn. Indeed, you will go to a land where you will be a stranger. So when you face difficulty or encounter hardship, say, 'There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to You, blessed be Allah, Lord of the Great Throne. Praise be to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.'"'"

[Machine] "Ali and Abdullah ibn Ja'far used to say: My father, Ali ibn Abi Talib, taught me these words to say during times of distress: 'O son, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me these words to say during times of distress that befall me. I have specified them to you apart from Hasan and Husain.' Abdullah ibn Ja'far would keep these words to himself. But when he married his daughter to Abd al-Malik and they went to Sham, he taught her these words, and we also learned them from him. When she returned and wanted to leave, he went with her. We realized that he was teaching her these words. When he left, I stayed behind, and then I caught up to her. I asked her and she mentioned a word with its meaning. She said: 'O daughter, you are going to a land where you are a stranger. Whenever distress or grief befall you, say these words: 'There is no god but Allah, the Generous, the Forbearing. Blessed be Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.'' Aban ibn Saleh narrated this Hadith from Abdullah ibn Shaddad ibn al-Had, from Abdullah ibn Ja'far, with the same words."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me words to say in times of distress when I am afflicted with something. I have learned them to be good and not bad. I have singled you out with them when your affair distresses you: Say, "There is no god but Allah, the Clement and Wise. Glory be to Him, blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds."
[Machine] He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me these words and commanded me that if a calamity or difficulty befalls me, I should say: "There is no god but Allah, the Generous, the Forbearing. Glory be to Him, blessed be Allah, the Lord of the mighty Throne. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds." So, Abdullah ibn Ja'far used to teach these words to the deceased and blow them onto the face of the sick person, and he would teach them to his scattered daughters.
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ taught them these words to say to the sick person: "There is no god but Allah, the Noble, the Forbearing. Glory be to Allah! Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne. And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds."
[Machine] The prophet ﷺ taught him words to say when he experienced distress. He would supplicate with the following words: "There is no god but Allah, the Clement and Noble. Glorified is Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds." This is incorrect and Ibn Thawban is weak and does not have the authority to support it. The correct hadith is the hadith of Ya'qub.
[Machine] Ali said to me, "I will inform you of words that I have not been informed about, whether they are good or bad. If you ask Allah for something and you want to succeed, say, 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. He is the Most High, the Almighty. There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. He is the Forbearing, the Generous.'"
[Machine] To succeed, say "There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. The Most High, the Great. There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. The Forbearing, the Generous."
[Machine] "He said to my son Ja'far, 'Shall I not tell you a statement that I often tell Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn when you ask Allah for any need and you both want it to be fulfilled? Say: "There is no god but Allah, alone without any partners. He is the Forbearing, the Most Generous. There is no god but Allah, alone without any partners. He is the Most High, the Most Great."
[Machine] The words of Al-Faraj: "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Most High, the Great. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the Mighty Throne. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds." Khalaf ibn Tamim differed in his chain of narration and in his wording.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: “Shall I not teach you some words that if you say them, you will be forgiven, even though you are already forgiven. There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Most Generous; there is no god but Allah, the Most High, the Almighty, Glory be to Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty Throne, praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 712)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Shall I not teach you words that, if you say them, you will be forgiven, even if it was decreed for you to be forgiven? They are: La Ilaha Illa Allah, Al-Halim, Al-Kareem, La Ilaha Illa Allah, Al-Aliyyu Al-Azheem, Subhan Allah, Rabbil Aalameen, Subhan Allah, Rabbi As-Samawati As-Sabi'i Wa Rabbil Arshil-Azheem, Alhamdulillah, Rabbil Aalameen."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I not teach you a supplication that if you say it, Allah will forgive you even if you were previously forgiven?" I said, "Certainly." He said, "There is no god but Allah, the Most High, the Great. There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. There is no god but Allah, Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne."
