53.272 [Machine] Whoever goes to bed without mentioning Allah the Almighty

nasai-kubra:10584Zakariyyā b. Yaḥyá > Abū Muṣʿab > Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm b. Dīnār > Ibn Abū Dhiʾb > al-Maqburī Saʿīd b. Abū Saʿīd > Abū Isḥāq a freed slave of ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever goes to bed without mentioning the name of Allah, it is a liability upon him." This is a shortened version.

nasai-kubra:10585Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > al-Layth > Ibn ʿAjlān > Saʿīd al-Maqburī > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever lies down without mentioning Allah, he will bear the consequences from Allah." It is a condensed saying.

nasai-kubra:10586Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd > Sufyān > ʿAṭāʾ from his father > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are two things that are easy; whoever does them in small amounts, and whoever preserves them will enter Paradise." We asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are they?" He said, "One of you should glorify Allah ten times, praise Him ten times, and say Allahu Akbar ten times after completing his prayer. And when he wants to sleep, that is two hundred and fifty with the tongue, and two thousand five hundred in the scale. So which one of you works in his day and night two thousand five hundred bad deeds?" Abdullah said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ grasping it in his hand, and the common people stood up."

nasai-kubra:10587Aḥmad b. Sulaymān > Yazīd > al-ʿAwwām > ʿAṭāʾ b. al-Sāʾib from his father > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr > Man

[Machine] After every obligatory prayer, there are ten praises, ten glorifications, and ten declarations of the greatness of Allah. And when he (the person) intends to sleep, he should recite thirty-three glorifications, thirty-three praises, and thirty-four declarations of the greatness of Allah, and if he persistently does this, he will enter paradise.

nasai-kubra:10588Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ashʿath > Abū Mushir > Hiql b. Ziyād > al-Awzāʿī > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever says 'SubhanAllah' (Glory be to Allah) a hundred times before the rising of the sun and before its setting, it is better for him than a hundred camels that are carried (for sacrifice). And whoever says 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah) a hundred times before the rising of the sun and before its setting, it is better for him than a hundred horses that are carried (for battle). And whoever says 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest) a hundred times before the rising of the sun and before its setting, it is better for him than freeing a hundred slaves. And whoever says 'La ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'ala kulli shayin qadir' (There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him is all praise, and He is able to do all things) a hundred times before the rising of the sun and before its setting, nothing will come on the Day of Resurrection better than his deed, except for he who says something similar or adds to it."

nasai-kubra:10589Ismāʿīl b. Masʿūd > Khālid b. al-Ḥārith > Ḥātim b. Abū Ṣaghīrah > Zaʿam Abū Balj > ʿAmr b. Maymūn > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no man on earth who says 'There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the greatest, glory be to Allah, and all praise is for Allah,' except that his sins are forgiven, even if they were more than the foam of the sea."

nasai-kubra:10590Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Muḥammad > Shuʿbah > Manṣūr > Ṭalq b. Ḥabīb > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

[Machine] Because saying "Subhan Allah, wa la ilaha illa Allah, wa Allahu akbar, wa lillahi al-hamd" is dearer to me than carrying weapons of war for the sake of Allah with their arsenals.
