[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Aisha, this is Gabriel, and he is conveying his greetings to you." She replied, "And peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings. You see what we cannot see, do you wish for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to follow the guidance of Shuayb and Ibn Musafir in this matter?" Abu Abdul Rahman said, "And this is the correct approach in following Shuayb and Ibn Musafir in this regard."  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٠١٣٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامُ» قَالَتْ قُلْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ تَرَى مَا لَا نَرَى تُرِيدُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا الصَّوَابُ لِمُتَابَعَةِ شُعَيْبٍ وَابْنِ مُسَافِرٍ إِيَّاهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ

ʿAisha said that the Prophet ﷺ said to her "O ʿAisha' This is Gabriel and he sends his (greetings) salutations to you." ʿAisha said, "Salutations (Greetings) to him, and Allah's Mercy and Blessings be on him," and addressing the Prophet ﷺ she said, "You see what I don't see."  

البخاري:٣٢١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ فَقَالَتْ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ تَرَى مَا لاَ أَرَى تُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ  

bukhari:3768 – Yaḥyá b. Bukayr > al-Layth > Yūnus > Ibn Shihāb > Abū Salamah In ʿĀʾishah

ʿAisha said, "Once Messenger of Allah ﷺ said (to me), 'O Aish (ʿAisha)! This is Gabriel greeting you.' I said, 'Peace and Allah's Mercy and Blessings be on him, you see what I don't see' " She was addressing Allah 's Apostle.  

البخاري:٣٧٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ

أَبُو سَلَمَةَ إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا يَا عَائِشَ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلاَمَ فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ تَرَى مَا لاَ أَرَى تُرِيدُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ  

bukhari:6249 – Ibn Muqātil > ʿAbdullāh > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > Abū Salamah b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > ʿĀʾishah

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O ʿAisha! This is Gabriel sending his greetings to you." I said, "Peace, and Allah's Mercy be on him (Gabriel). You see what we do not see." (She was addressing Allah's Apostle).  

البخاري:٦٢٤٩ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ تَرَى مَا لاَ نَرَى تُرِيدُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ  

تَابَعَهُ شُعَيْبٌ وَقَالَ يُونُسُ وَالنُّعْمَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
tirmidhi:3881 – Sūwayd b. Naṣr > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mubārak > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > Abū Salamah > ʿĀʾishah

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O 'Aishah! Here is Jibril and he is giving Salam to you." She said: "I said: 'And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings. You see that which we do not.'"  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.
الترمذي:٣٨٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ تَرَى مَا لاَ نَرَى  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
