[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Is there anyone who asks that I may give him? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness that I may forgive him? Is there anyone who repents that I may accept his repentance until dawn breaks?'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one-third of the night has passed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and remains there until dawn. He says, 'Is there anyone who calls upon Me, that I may answer him? Is there anyone who seeks My forgiveness, that I may forgive him? Is there anyone who is in need, that I may provide for him?'"

[Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah descends during the last third of the night and says, 'Whoever supplicates to Me, I will respond to him; whoever asks Me, I will give him; whoever seeks forgiveness from Me, I will forgive him.' This continues until the break of dawn.'"

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Al-hamdu lillahi nahmadhu wa nastaʿinuhu wa naʿudhu billahi min shururi anfusina wa min sayi'ati aʿmalina, man yahdihillahu fala mudilla lahu, wa man yudlil fala hadiya lahu. Amma baʿd. (Praise is to Allah, we praise Him and we seek His help. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds, Whomsoever Allah guides will never be led astray; and whomsoever is led astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, alone with no partner or associate, and that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. To proceed).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1893)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us two sermons, the sermon of prayer and the sermon of necessity. As for the sermon of necessity, it begins with "Alhamdulillah, we seek His help and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of ourselves and from our bad deeds. Whoever Allah guides, no one can misguide him, and whoever He misguides, no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." Zuhair stood and narrated to us, Amr bin Ali informed us, Khalaf bin Tamim narrated to us from Zuhair, who narrated to us from Abu Ishaq, who narrated from Abu Al-Ahwas, who narrated from Abdullah, who said: "When one of you wants to give a sermon of necessity, let him begin by saying 'Alhamdulillah, we seek His help, similar to it' and 'He is One, with no partner.' Shu'bah contradicted them and reported from Abu Ishaq, who narrated from Abu Ubaidah, who narrated from Abdullah."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: He taught us the sermon of necessity, saying, "All praise is due to Allah, the same way and more. Then he recited three verses: 'O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared' (Al 'Imran 102), 'O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul' (An-Nisa' 1), and 'O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice' (Al-Ahzab 70). Then he mentioned his need.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us the speech of necessity, saying, "Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves. Whoever Allah guides, there is no misguidance for him, and whoever He misguides, there is no guidance for him. And I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, alone, without any partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger." Abu Ubaydah said, "I heard Abu Musa saying, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "If you want, your sermon can include any of these verses from the Quran: 'Fear Allah as He deserves to be feared and do not die except as Muslims.' (Surah Al-Imran, 3:102) 'Fear Allah, in whom you ask each other for your rights, and fear the wombs (lest you sever its ties). Verily, Allah is ever watching over you.' (Surah An-Nisa', 4:1) 'Fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice.' (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:70) until 'great success.' (Surah An-Nisa’, 4:73).' Then he would speak about his need. Israel combined both of these (verses)."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us the sermon of need, "Praise be to Allah, we praise Him and seek His help." Then he mentioned something similar to it and said, Abdullah said, "Then complete your sermon with three verses and narrate the Hadith."

53.172 [Machine] What does he say when he worries about the matter?
The Prophet ﷺ used to teach us the way of doing Istikhara (Istikhara means to ask Allah to guide one to the right sort of action concerning any job or a deed), in all matters as he taught us the Suras of the Qur'an. He said, "If anyone of you thinks of doing any job he should offer a two rakʿat prayer other than the compulsory ones and say (after the prayer): -- 'Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi'ilmika, Wa astaqdiruka bi-qudratika, Wa as'alaka min fadlika Al-ʿazlm Fa-innaka taqdiru Wala aqdiru, Wa ta'lamu Wala a'lamu, Wa anta 'allamu l-ghuyub. Allahumma, in kunta ta'lam anna hadha-lamra Khairun li fi dini wa ma'ashi wa'aqibati ʿAmri (or 'ajili ʿAmri wa'ajilihi) Faqdirhu wa yas-sirhu li thumma barik li Fihi, Wa in kunta ta'lamu anna hadha-lamra shar-run li fi dini wa ma'ashi wa'aqibati ʿAmri (or fi'ajili ʿAmri wa ajilihi) Fasrifhu anni was-rifni anhu. Waqdir li al-khaira haithu kana Thumma ardini bihi.' (O Allah! I ask guidance from Your knowledge, And Power from Your Might and I ask for Your great blessings. You are capable and I am not. You know and I do not and You know the unseen. O Allah! If You know that this job is good for my religion and my subsistence and in my Hereafter--(or said: If it is better for my present and later needs)--Then You ordain it for me and make it easy for me to get, And then bless me in it, and if You know that this job is harmful to me In my religion and subsistence and in the Hereafter--(or said: If it is worse for my present and later needs)--Then keep it away from me and let me be away from it. And ordain for me whatever is good for me, And make me satisfied with it). The Prophet ﷺ added that then the person should name (mention) his need. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1166)

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ proceeded on journey, he would say: O Allah, Thou art the Companion in the journey, and the One Who looks after the family; O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the difficulty of travelling, finding harm when I return, and unhappiness in what I see coming to my family and property. O Allah, make the length of his journey short for us, and the journey easy for us. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2598)
[Machine] "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would leave for a journey, he would say, 'O Allah, grant us a safe journey that brings us the best forgiveness and pleasure from You. O Allah, in Your hand is all good, and You are able to do all things. O Allah, You are our companion on the journey and the guardian of our family. O Allah, make the journey easy for us and shorten the distance. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the difficulties of travel and the change in conditions.'"

[Machine] All praise is due to Allah who has subjected this for us and we were not capable of subjecting it. And to our Lord we will return. Then he glorified three times and praised three times. Then he said, "There is no deity except Allah, you are exalted. Indeed, I have wronged myself, so forgive me my sins. Indeed, He does not forgive sins except You." He said, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said the same thing one day, then he laughed. So I said, 'What made you laugh?' He said, 'Our Lord, blessed and exalted, marvels at His servant's saying: 'You are exalted. Indeed, I have wronged myself, so forgive my sins. Indeed, He does not forgive sins except You.'" He said, "My servant has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins."

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would dispatch troops, he would say to the leader: ‘I commend to Allah’s keeping your religious commitment, your dignity and the end of your deeds.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2826)
When the Prophet ﷺ wanted to say farewell to an army, he would say: I entrust to Allah your religion, what you are responsible for, and your final deeds. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2601)

[Machine] Should I not teach you, O son of my brother, something that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me to say at the time of farewell? I said, "Yes." He said, "Say, 'I entrust you to the care of Allah, who does not lose His trusts.'"

[Machine] Just as you are bidding farewell to me as the Prophet ﷺ bid me farewell, he took my hand and shook it, then he said, "I entrust Allah with your debts, trusts, and the outcome of your actions."
[Machine] "I bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ bid me farewell. He took my hand, shook it, and said, 'I entrust Allah with your debt, trust, and the final deeds of your actions.'
[Machine] Regarding the farewell of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to him, he said, "I entrust Allah with your religion, your trustworthiness, and the last deeds you will perform."

[Machine] And he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Lokman the wise said, "Indeed, when Allah is entrusted with something, He preserves it, and indeed, I entrust Allah with your debt, integrity, the final outcomes of your deeds, and I send peace upon you."
53.179 [Machine] The mention of differences in interpretation
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Luqman the wise used to say, 'Verily, when Allah is entrusted with something, He protects it.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us that Luqman Al-Hakeem used to say, "Indeed, when Allah takes something into His trust, He protects it."

[Machine] "He said, 'I do not have anything to give you, but I entrust to Allah your religion, your trusts, the seals of your deeds, and I recite upon you peace.'" [193] 10278 Ahmad bin Sulaiman informed us, Ubaidullah informed us, Isra'il narrated to us from Abu Sinan from Abu Ghalib who said: 'I was with Ibn 'Umar, along with Qaz'ah. When we left his presence, he walked with us and then said: 'I do not have anything to give you, but I entrust to Allah.' And he narrated the Hadith."

Qaza’ah said Ibn ‘Umar told me “Come, I see off you as the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ saw me off. I entrust to Allaah your religion what you are responsible for and your final deeds.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2600)

53.181 [Machine] Invocation for those who do not ride horses
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Is not this (fulfilling my mission) sufficient for me?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am a man who cannot ride horses." So, he struck my chest and said, "O Allah, make him steadfast and guide him." I then went out with fifty men from my people and we came upon them and burned them.
53.182 [Machine] The Limit in Travel
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey, and he had a young boy with him called Anjasha who would lead the people. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Woe to you, O Anjasha, take it easy with the reins."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Anjasha while he was driving with his wives, and he said, "Drive slowly and do not break the jars."
Anjasha, drive slowly; do not break the vessels of glass, meaning the weak women. (Using translation from Muslim 2323e)
[Machine] I heard Anas say that while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking, a man was urging his camel to hurry along with the women of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Anjasha, be gentle with the vessels."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was driving the mothers of the believers, "Ruwaidah, O Anjasha, drive with your bottles."
[Machine] She used to be with the wives of the Prophet ﷺ and a driver would drive them. So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Drive them gently, O Anjashah, for they are carrying fragile vessels."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spent the night with us and did not wake up for the Fajr prayer until the sun had risen.
[Machine] He was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, so he said to him, "O Ibn Rawaha, get off and move the luggage." He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have left that behind." So Umar said, "Listen and obey." So he threw himself and said, "O Allah, if it weren't for You, we would not have been guided, given charity, or prayed, so send down tranquility upon us and make our feet firm if we encounter [the enemy]."
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ moving the soil of the trench until the soil covered his chest hair and he was reciting the poem of Abd Allah bin Rawahah (Bahar Rajz): "O Allah, if it were not for You, we would not have been guided, nor given in charity, nor prayed. So send tranquility upon us and keep our feet steady if we meet [the enemy]. Indeed, the first [enemies] have transgressed against us and if they intend to cause discord, we will confront them with it." Abu Abdullah Al-Rahman said, and it has been narrated from Salamah bin Al-Akwa that this 'rajz' (poem) was for his brother.
On the day of the Battle of Khaibar my brother fought a fierce fight by the side of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. His sword rebounded and killed him. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon hill) talked about his death and doubted (whether it was martyrdom). (They said): (He is) a man killed by his own weapon, and expressed doubt about his affair. Salama said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Khaibar, I said: Messenger of Allah, permit me that I may recite to you some rajaz verses. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted him. 'Umar b. Khattab said: I know what you will recite. I recited: By God, if God had guided us not, We would hive neither been guided aright nor practised charity, Nor offered prayers. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What you have said is true, 'I (continued): And descend on us peace and tranquillity And keep us steadfast if we encounter (with our enemies) And the polytheists have rebelled against us. When I finished my rajaz, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who composed these verses? I said: They were composed by my brother. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: May God show mercy to him! I said: By God, some people are reluctant to invoke God's mercy on him (because) they say he is a man who died by his own sword. (Hearing this) the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He died as God's devotee and warrior. Ibn Shihab has said: I asked one of the sons of Salama (b. Akwa') about (the death of 'Amir). He related to me a similar tradition except that he said: When I said some people were reluctant invoke God's blessings on him, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be, upon him said: They lied. ('Amir) died as God's devotee and warrior (in the cause of Allah). For him there is a double reward, and he pointed out this by putting his two fingers together. (Using translation from Muslim 1802b)

He said: Abu Musa or Abdullah b Qais, should I not direct you to the words (which form) the treasure of Paradise? I said: Messenger of Allah, what are these?
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and the people approached a valley, so they loudly proclaimed "Allahu Akbar" and "La ilaha illallah." Aasim raised his voice, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Make it four times upon yourselves, for the One you are calling upon is not deaf. Indeed, He hears and is near. He is with you." He repeated it three times. Abu Musa said, "Then he heard me saying it from behind him, 'There is no power or strength except with Allah.'" He said, "O Abdullah bin Qais, shall I guide you to a word from the treasures of Paradise?" I said, "Yes, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you." Abu 'Abdur-Rahman Al-Hasan narrated this on the authority of Jabir from a written document, not from hearing it directly.
