[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ exited and faced this mosque and said, "This mosque is not permissible for anyone in a state of janaba (major ritual impurity) or menstruation, except for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husain. Behold, I have clarified the names to you so that you do not go astray." Abu Sa'id al-Mālinī informed us that I am Abu Ahmad ibn 'Adi al-Hāfiz who said, "I heard Ibn Hammād say, 'Al-Bukhārī may Allah have mercy on him cited al-Dhuhlī saying from Jassarah. Ibn Abu Ghaniyah also mentioned it from Abu al-Khattab with an additional statement: 'There is a difference of opinion.' The Sheikh, may Allah have mercy on him, said, 'This was narrated from another perspective from Jassarah and it has a weakness.'"
[Machine] "Indeed, my mosque is prohibited for every menstruating woman and every sexually impure man, except for Muhammad and his household, Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Hussein."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ, and this is not correct about the Prophet ﷺ, and Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated from Salim ibn Abi Hafsa from Atiyyah from Abu Sa'eed, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali: "O Ali, it is not permissible for anyone other than you and me to stay overnight in this mosque." Abu Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Ziyad informed them of this through Abu Abdur Rahman as-Sulami. He said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Khuzaymah narrated to us from Ali ibn Mundhir, from Ibn Fudayl, from Salim ibn Abi Hafsa, who mentioned it. And it has been narrated from another source through Atiyyah, and Atiyyah is Ibn Saad al-Awfii, not relied upon. Allah, Glorified and Exalted, knows best.
