[Machine] Yala responds to Omar's request saying, "I wish I could see the Messenger of Allah when revelation descends upon him." When the Prophet ﷺ was in Jirana wearing a cloak that was old and patched, with some of his companions nearby, a man came to him with traces of perfume on him. He asked the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of a man who has entered ihram while he still has traces of perfume on him?" The Prophet looked at him, and then revelation came to him. Umar pointed to Yala with his hand, signaling him to come. Yala went to him and placed his head into his cloak, and when he lifted his head, his face was red. This lasted for a while, and then he withdrew from him. The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Where is the man who asked me about performing 'Umrah before its time?" The man sought him out, and when he was brought to the Prophet, he said, "As for the perfume on you, wash it off three times, and as for the cloak, take it off. Then perform your 'Umrah as you perform your Hajj." This hadith is mentioned in Ibn Jurayj's narration and also in a narration from Humam, with reference to his father, that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in Jirana and wearing a cloak, and there were traces of impurity on it.
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "O Messenger of Allah, which are the best places?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I do not know." The man then asked, "Which are the worst places?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I do not know." Then, Gabriel ﷺ came to him and said, "O Gabriel, which are the best places?" Gabriel ﷺ replied, "I do not know." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Ask your Lord." Gabriel ﷺ suddenly startled and nearly fell, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "I do not ask about anything." Then, Allah, the Most High and Majestic, said to Gabriel, "Muhammad has asked you which are the best places. So, tell him that the best places are the mosques and the worst places are the markets." In this sense, there are many narrations.
