39. Marriage
[Machine] A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and offered herself to him. He said, "What do I have to do with women's needs?" A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, marry her to me." He asked, "What do you have?" The man replied, "I have nothing." The Prophet asked, "Do you have anything from the Quran?" The man answered, "Yes, I know this and that." The Prophet said, "I have married her to you for what you know from the Quran."
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There is no believer except that I am closer to him in this world and the Hereafter. Read if you wish: 'The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves.' (Qur'an, Al-Ahzab 33:6) So whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his heirs, and whoever leaves behind a debt or loss, then I am his guardian."
