Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to offer the ʿAsr prayers at a time when the sunshine was still inside my chamber and no shadow had yet appeared in it. (Using translation from Bukhārī 545)   

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ وَالشَّمْسُ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا لَمْ يَظْهَرِ الْفَيْءُ»  

Anas b. Malik said the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the 'Asr prayer when the sun was high and bright and living, then one would go off to al-'Awali and get there while the sun was still high. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 404)  

أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ حَيَّةٌ وَيَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى الْعَوَالِي وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ»  

that he heard Abu Umama saying: We prayed the Zuhr prayer with ʿUmar bin ʿAbdul ʿAziz and then went to Anas bin Malik and found him offering the ʿAsr prayer. I asked him, "O uncle! Which prayer have you offered?" He said 'The ʿAsr and this is (the time of) the prayer of Allah s Apostle which we used to pray with him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 549)  

«الْعَصْرُ وَهَذِهِ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الَّتِي كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَهُ»
