٢۔٧٧٠ الْكَلَامُ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ

nasai-kubra:1729Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ḥammād > ʿAmr b. Dīnār > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

So and so, have you prayed (two rak'ahs)? He said: No. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Then stand and pray. (Using translation from Muslim 875a)  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٧٢٩أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «صَلَّيْتَ؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «قُمْ فَارْكَعْ»

"I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the Minbar, and Al-Hasan was with him. He would turn to the people sometimes and turn to him (Al-Hasan) sometimes, and he said: 'This son of mine is a leader (Sayyid) and Allah may make peace between two large groups of Muslims through him.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1410)  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٧٣٠أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكَرَةَ يَقُولُ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَالْحَسَنُ مَعَهُ وَهُوَ يُقْبِلُ عَلَى النَّاسِ مَرَّةً وَعَلَيْهِ مَرَّةً وَيَقُولُ «إِنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ وَلَعَلَّ اللهَ أَنْ يُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَظِيمَتَيْنِ»
