2.453 [Machine] Seeking refuge with the Quran when encountering a verse of punishment

nasai-kubra:1082Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Yaḥyá And ʿAbd al-Raḥman And Ibn Abū ʿAdī > Shuʿbah > Sulaymān > Saʿd b. ʿUbaydah > al-Mustawrid b. al-Aḥnaf > Ṣilah b. Zufar > Ḥudhayfah

[Machine] He prayed next to the Prophet ﷺ one night and recited. Whenever he passed by a verse of punishment, he would seek refuge, and whenever he passed by a verse of mercy, he would pause and supplicate. And he would say in his bowing, "Glory be to my Lord, the Great," and in his prostration, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."
