[Machine] "We have been promised by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the expedition to India. If I reach it, I will spend my money and myself in it. If I am martyred, then I will be among the best of martyrs. And if I return, then I am Abu Hurairah Al-Muharrar. Al-Muqri' (the narrator) added: Then Musaddad said: I heard Ibn Dawood saying: Abu Ishaq Al-Fazari said: I wish I had witnessed every expedition I fought in the lands of the Romans."  

وَعَدَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَزْوَةَ الْهِنْدِ فَإِنْ أُدْرِكْهَا أُنْفِقْ فِيهَا مَالِي وَنَفْسِي فَإِنِ اسْتُشْهِدْتُ كُنْتُ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَإِنْ رَجَعْتُ فَأَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةُ الْمُحَرَّرُ زَادَ الْمُقْرِئُ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ دَاوُدَ يَقُولُ قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيُّ وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي شَهِدْتُ مَا رُبِدَ بِكُلِّ غَزْوَةٍ غَزَوْتُهَا فِي بِلَادِ الرُّومِ  

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There are two groups of my Ummah whom Allah will free from the Fire: The group that invades India, and the group that will be with 'Isa bin Maryam, peace be upon him.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3175)   

عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ ؓ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عِصَابَتَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحْرَزَهُمَا اللهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عِصَابَةٌ تَغْزُو الْهِنْدَ وَعِصَابَةٌ تَكُونُ مَعَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ
