[Machine] "He heard Ubadah ibn as-Samit saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade separating a mother from her child. It was said, 'O Messenger of Allah, until when?' He said, 'Until the boy reaches the age of puberty and the girl reaches the age of menstruation.' Abu Abdur-Rahman as-Sulami and Abu Bakr ibn al-Harith informed us that Abu al-Hasan ad-Daraqutni, may Allah have mercy on him, said, 'Abdullah ibn Amr is the narrator of this hadith, and he is weak in hadith. Ali ibn al-Madini accused him of lying and no one else narrated it from Sa'id except him.'"  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ ؓ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُفَرَّقَ بَيْنَ الْأُمِّ وَوَلَدِهَا فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِلَى مَتَى؟ قَالَ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْغُلَامُ وَتَحِيضَ الْجَارِيَةُ 18327 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَا قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو هَذَا هُوَ الْوَاقِفِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفُ الْحَدِيثِ رَمَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ بِالْكَذِبِ وَلَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ غَيْرُهُ
