15. Chapter of Ṣād (Male) (12/19)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whenever Allah bestows a favor upon a servant, and the servant praises Him for it, that praise is better than the favor itself, even if it is immense."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever is afflicted by the night and struggles through it, and withholds his wealth instead of spending it, and refrains from fighting against the enemy, then let him increase in saying 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi' (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him), for indeed it is more beloved to Allah than a mountain of gold and silver that is spent in the cause of Allah."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The chosen land of Allah from His earth is al-Sham and it contains His chosen people from His creation and servants. And a group from my nation will enter Paradise without being held accountable or punished."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever is plagued by the darkness of night and struggles through it, or withholds his wealth from spending, or is cowardly when facing the enemy, let him increase in saying 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi' (Glory be to Allah and praise to Him), for it is more beloved to Allah than a mountain of gold that is spent in the cause of Allah."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no seclusion, no mischief, no contagion, and the two months of Shawwal and Dhu al-Qa'dah are not complete unless they are thirty days."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says three times in the morning: 'O Allah, to You belongs all praise, there is no god but You, You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I believe in You and sincerely adhere to Your religion. I am relying on Your promise and covenant as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my actions. I seek Your forgiveness for my sins, which no one else can forgive except You. If a person dies on that day, they will enter Paradise. And if a person says three times in the evening: 'O Allah, to You belongs all praise, there is no god but You, You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I believe in You and sincerely adhere to Your religion. I am relying on Your promise and covenant as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my actions. I seek Your forgiveness for my sins, which no one else can forgive except You. And if a person dies on that night, they will enter Paradise." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would swear an oath that no one other than him has ever said this three times in the morning and died on that day, except that they would enter Paradise. And no one has ever said it three times in the evening and died on that night, except that they would enter Paradise."

[Machine] "We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a battle that he fought. The caller then announced, 'Whoever was left behind, they should return.' So the people began to retreat until they reached a narrow passage on the road. A man's camel stumbled and caused him to fall, leading to his death. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw this and called the Muslims, so the people came to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, 'What happened? What stopped you?' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, so-and-so approached the narrow passage on the road and his animal stumbled, resulting in his death.' He said, 'Leave him and let him be prayed upon.' He refused, so the caller ordered, 'Verily, Paradise is not permissible for a sinner.'"

[Machine] We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and they mentioned Sham (Greater Syria) and the Romans who were in it. And of the turning away from this religion is that the tribe as a whole rejects it, so that only the knowledgeable ones remain. They are humiliated in it if they speak out or are oppressed. And the curse falls upon the last of the nation as it did upon its first. Beware, for they will drink wine openly until a woman passes by a community and one of them will come to her and lift her dress as the tail of a sheep is lifted. Some will say on that day, 'Beware and stay away from behind the wall.' On that day, he will be among them like Abu Bakr and Umar among you. [Machine] One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up to perform the prayer and saw a bone in the direction of the qibla (prayer direction). He took off his sandals and walked towards it, then moved it three times. After he finished his prayer, he turned to the people and directed them. He praised and thanked Allah, then said, "O people, when one of you stands up to pray, he is in a great position before a great Lord, asking for a great matter, which is winning Paradise and being saved from the Hellfire. And when one of you stands up to pray, he is standing in front of Allah, facing his Lord, with the angel on his right and the devil on his left. So, do not spit in front of you or to your right, but rather to your left, underneath your left foot. Then, let him rub his cheek against it, and let him tighten his upper garment, for he is rubbing off the whisperings of Satan. And the one who has sent me with the truth, when the screens are lifted between you and him, or when it is time for speech, he complains about what he hears from that."

A woman who harassed the Prophet ﷺ about his humble demeanor
A woman used to harass men and used to be obscene about it. Once she walked by the Prophet ﷺ while he was eating tharīd (sopped bread, meat, and broth) on two fresh leaves. She said: Look all of you at this man sitting like servants sits and eating like servants eats. Then the Prophet ﷺ said, “Which servant shows more servitude than me?” She continued: And he eats but he doesn’t feed me. He said, “Eat.” She said: Give it to me with your hand. He gave it to her. She said: Give me what’s in your mouth. He gave it to her. She ate it then shyness overcame her and she didn’t harass anyone until she died.
