15. Chapter of Ṣād (Male)
“We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Amr bin Murrah came and said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Allah (SWT) has decreed that I be doomed, and He has not guided me to earn a living except by beating my tambourine with my hand; give me permission to sing without doing anything immoral.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I will not give you permission, or honor you nor give you, what you want. You are lying, O enemy of Allah. Allah (SWT) has granted you a good, lawful provision, but you have chosen the provision that Allah (SWT) has forbidden to you instead of that which He has permitted. If I had warned you before, I would have done such and such to you. Get away from me and repent to Allah (SWT). If you do that again, after this warning, I will give you a painful beating and shave your head, to make an example of you, and I will banish you from among your people, and tell the young men of Al-Madinah to come and take your goods,'Amr stood up, suffering grief and humiliation that is known only to Allah (SWT). When he went away, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Those sinners, whoever among them dies without having repented, Allah (SWT) will gather him on the Day of Resurrection just as he was in this world, effeminate and naked, with not even a piece of cloth to conceal him from the people. Every time he gets up, he will fall to the ground.'” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2613)

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during one of his travels, so he performed the evening prayer and then went to sleep until the middle of the night. He then woke up and recited these verses from the end of Surah Al-Imran until the end of the Surah. Then he performed ablution, washed his face and hands, and then prayed two units of prayer, of which I do not know whether his standing, bowing, or prostration were longer. Then he said, 'Then he woke up and recited the verses again, then performed ablution and washed his face and hands. Then he did the same as before, and then he prayed what he had prayed before, like in the beginning. He continued to pray two units of prayer, two units of prayer, and sleep, then wake up as he did in the first time, until he prayed eleven units of prayer."
[Machine] The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "Verily, when the sun rises, the devil withdraws from it. And when it spreads out, he separates from it. And when it approaches its zenith, he approaches it. And when it declines, he separates from it. And when it approaches sunset, he approaches it. And when it sets, he separates from it." He forbade performing prayer during those hours.
[Machine] We went out as pilgrims, and when we were at al-'Arj, we saw a snake in turmoil. It did not take long before it died, so one of us took a piece of his garment, wrapped it around the snake, and placed it on the ground. Then we proceeded to Makkah, and while we were at the Sacred Mosque, a man approached us and asked, "Who among you is the companion of 'Amr ibn Jabir?" We replied that we did not know him. He then asked, "Who among you is the companion of the jinn?" We said, "This is he." He said, "Indeed, he was one of the last nine believers who came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to listen to the Qur'an."
