[Machine] A man from the people of Suffa died and a dinar was found in his garment. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Goodness". Then another man died and two dinars were found in his garment. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Two goodness".  

تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ فَوُجِدَ فِي مِئْزَرِهِ دِينَارٌ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ «كَيَّةٌ» ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَ آخَرُ فَوُجِدَ فِي مِئْزَرِهِ دِينَارَانِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كَيَّتَانِ»  

[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Indeed, people are like a tree with fruit, and soon you will return to a tree with thorns. If you criticize them, they will criticize you; and if you leave them, they will not leave you. And if you run away from them, they will seek you out.' He was asked, 'So how does one find a way out of that, O Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'Lend them from your possessions for the day of your encounter."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ النَّاسَ شَجَرَةٌ ذَاتُ جَنى وَيُوشِكُ أَنْ تَعُودُوا شَجَرَةً ذَاتَ شَوْكٍ إِنْ نَاقَدْتَهُمْ نَاقَدُوكَ وَإِنْ تَرَكْتَهُمْ لَمْ يَتْرُكُوكَ وَإِنْ هَرَبْتَ مِنْهُمْ طَلَبُوكَ» قَالَ فَكَيْفَ الْمَخْرَجُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «تُقْرِضُهُمْ مِنْ عِرْضِكَ لِيَوْمِ فَاقَتِكَ»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Oppression through force is prohibited."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «غَبْنُ الْمُسْتَرْسِلِ حَرَامٌ»  

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , formed brotherly bonds among the people and formed a bond between himself and Ali.  

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ آَخَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَآخَى بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Whoever walks to the obligatory prayer in congregation, it is like performing Hajj. And whoever walks to the voluntary prayer, it is like performing a complete Umrah."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ مَشَى إِلَى صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ فَهِي كَحَجَّةٍ وَمَنْ مَشَى إِلَى صَلَاةِ تَطَوُّعٍ فَهِي كَعُمْرَةٍ تَامَّةٍ»  

[Machine] Makhul told me that they entered upon Abu Umamah, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever goes out in the cause of Allah is guaranteed by Allah that if he is killed, He will admit him to Paradise, and if he survives, He will return him with the rewards and booty he has earned.'"  

حَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ أَنَّهُمْ دَخَلُوا عَلَى أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى اللهِ إِنْ تَوَفَّاهُ اللهُ أَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ رَدَّهُ رَدَّهُ بِمَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَغَنِيمَةٍ» الْحَدِيثَ  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Return the trust to the one who entrusted you and do not betray the one who betrayed you."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَدِّ الْأَمَانَةَ إِلَى مَنِ ائْتَمَنَكَ وَلَا تَخُنْ مَنْ خَانَكَ»  

[Machine] I heard Abu Umamah saying, "The companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite poetry to each other and laugh, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat and smiled with them."  

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَنَاشَدُونَ الْأَشْعَارَ وَيَضْحَكُونَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَالِسٌ «يَبْتَسِمُ مَعَهُمْ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet صَلَىٰ ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ who said: "Sending blessings upon the footsteps of a prayer without any heedless talk in between is a written book in the highest realms."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلَاةٌ عَلَى أَثَرِ صَلَاةٍ لَا لَغْوٌ بَيْنَهُمَا كِتَابٌ فِي عِلِّيِّينَ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to perform the Sunnah prayer on his camel.  

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُوتِرُ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The wudu of sleep is to touch the water and then wipe your face, hands, and feet with that wiping, just as in tayammum."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وُضُوءُ النَّوْمِ أَنْ تَمَسَّ الْمَاءَ ثُمَّ تَمَسَّحَ بِتِلْكَ الْمَسَّةِ وَجْهِكَ وَيَدَيْكَ وَرِجْلَيْكَ كَمَسْحَةِ التَّيَمُّمِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever forgives when he is able to seek revenge, Allah will forgive him on the Day of Distress."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ عَفَا عِنْدَ قُدْرَةٍ عَفَا اللهُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْعُسْرَةِ»  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'The minimum duration of menstruation is three days, and the maximum is ten.'"  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَقَلُّ الْحَيْضِ ثَلَاثٌ وَأَكْثَرُهُ عَشْرٌ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ camped in Qatif and settled a dispute between its two factions.  

«أَمَّنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي قَطِيفَةٍ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever learns a verse from the Book of Allah will have it appear before him on the Day of Judgment, laughing in his face."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعْلَمْ آيَةً مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ ﷻ اسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَضْحَكُ فِي وَجْهِهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is brought up upon the worship of Allah until he dies, Allah will reward him with the status of ninety-nine sincere friends."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا نَاشِئٍ نَشَأَ عَلَى عِبَادَةِ اللهِ حَتَّى يَمُوتَ أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ أَجْرَ تِسْعَةٍ وَتِسْعِينَ صِدِّيقًا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is brought up in the pursuit of knowledge and worship until he reaches maturity, Allah will grant him the reward of seventy-two martyrs on the Day of Judgment."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا نَاشِئٍ نَشَأَ فِي طَلَبِ الْعِلْمِ وَالْعِبَادَةِ حَتَّى يُكْبُرَ أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوَابَ اثْنَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ صِدِّيقًا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed those with silent faces and narrow hearts.  

«لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَامِشَاتِ الْوُجُوهِ وَشَاقَّاتِ الْجُيُوبِ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not sell the fruit until its goodness becomes apparent."  

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَا تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَةَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا»  

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited on the day of Khaybar the treading of ropes until they were laid down."  

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ أَنْ تُوطَأَ الْحَبَالَى حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ»  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ forbade the sale of arrows until they are divided."  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ تُبَاعَ السِّهَامُ حَتَّى تُقْسَمَ»  

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ cursed the one who severs family ties, the one who severs those who are connected, the one who tattoos and the one who gets a tattoo."  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَعَنَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُوصِلَةَ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمَوْشُومَةَ»  

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ cursed the one who severs family ties, the one who maintains severed family ties, the female tattoo artist, and the one who gets tattooed."  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَعَنَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُوصِلَةَ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمَوْشُومَةَ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was attacked by Abdullah ibn Qami'a during the Battle of Uhud with a stone. It hit him in the face and broke his incisor tooth. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Take it, for I am the son of Qami'a." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ , while wiping the blood from his face, asked him, "What made you do this? May Allah disfigure you!" Allah then sent a mountain goat to attack him, which continued to butt him until it tore him into pieces, piece by piece.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَمَاهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ قَمِئَةَ بِحَجَرٍ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَشَجَّهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ وَكَسَرَ رَبَاعِيَّتُهُ وَقَالَ خُذْهَا وَأَنَا ابْنُ قَمِئَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ «مَا لَكَ أَقْمَأَكَ اللهُ» فَسَلَّطَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ تَيْسَ جَبَلٍ لَا تَيْسَ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَنْطَحُهُ حَتَّى قَطَعَهُ قِطْعَةً قِطْعَةً  

[Machine] About Prophet Muhammad, may ﷺ , it is narrated that when the son of Qamitah threw stones at him on the day of Uhud, "I saw the Prophet, may ﷺ , after he had performed ablution, he removed his band and wiped over it with water from the ablution."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا رَمَاهُ ابْنُ قَمِئَةَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ حَلَّ عَنْ عِصَابَةٍ وَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهَا بِالْوُضُوءِ»  

[Machine] "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to dislike yawning during prayer."  

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ التَّثَاؤُبَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever intentionally lies about me, let him take his place in a seat from amongst the eyes of Hell." This troubled his companions, so they said, "O Messenger of Allah, we talk about your hadiths, adding and omitting." He said, "That doesn't concern you. I am only referring to those who lie about me deliberately, seeking to harm Islam with it." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, you mentioned 'from amongst the eyes of Hell.' Does Hell have eyes?" He said, "Yes." Haven't you heard Him say, 'When they see it from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring?' Do they see it except with two eyes?"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ عَيْنَيْ جَهَنَّمَ» فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نُحَدِّثُ عَنْكَ بِالْحَدِيثِ نَزِيدُ وَنُنْقِصُ قَالَ «لَيْسَ ذَا أَعْنِيكُمْ إِنَّمَا أَعْنِي الَّذِي يَكْذِبُ عَلَيَّ مُتَحَدِّثًا يَطْلُبُ بِهِ شَيْنَ الْإِسْلَامِ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْ جَهَنَّمَ وَهَلْ لِجَهَنَّمَ عَيْنٌ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» أَمَا سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ {إِذَا رَأَتْهُمْ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُوا لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا} فَهَلْ تَرَاهُمْ إِلَّا بِعَيْنَيْنِ  

[Machine] We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the saddle of the Prophet ﷺ got damaged. He said, "Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return." A man said to him, "This is just a saddle." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, it is a calamity."  

خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَانْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ» فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ هَذَا الشِّسْعُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهَا مُصِيبَةٌ»  

[Machine] Abu Darda, Abu Umamah, and Wathilah narrated that they heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Keep your children, insane ones, opponents, and voices away from your mosques. Sheath your swords, establish your boundaries, and maintain them. Close the doors of your mosques with tanned hides."  

عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ وأَبِي أُمَامَةَ ووَاثِلَةَ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «جَنِّبُوا مَسَاجِدَكُمْ صِبْيَانَكُمْ وَمَجَانِينَكُمْ وَخُصُومَاتِكُمْ وَأَصْوَاتَكُمْ وَسَلَّ سُيُوفِكُمْ وَإِقَامَةَ حُدُودِكُمْ وَجَمِّرُوهَا فِي سَبْعٍ وَاتَّخِذُوا عَلَى أَبْوَابِ مَسَاجِدِكُمِ الْمَطَاهِرَ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge from sudden death, and he used to like to fall ill before he dies.  

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ مَوْتِ الْفَجْأَةِ وَكَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يُمَرَّضَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge from sudden death and he liked to fall ill before dying.  

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ مَوْتِ الْفَجْأَةِ وَكَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يُمَرَّضَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ»  

[Machine] We were traveling with the Prophet ﷺ and we passed by a group of people. The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Who are they?" They replied, "They are the people of Al-Anbar." The Prophet ﷺ said, "They are our people."  

كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رُكْبَانًا فَمَرَرْنَا بِهَجَمْةٍ «فَقَالَ لِمَنْ هَذِهِ؟» قَالُوا لِبَنِي الْعَنْبَرِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أُولَئِكَ قَوْمُنَا»  

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Beware of urine, as it is the first thing for which a servant will be held accountable in the grave."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «اتَّقُوا الْبَوْلَ فَإِنَّهُ أَوَّلُ مَا يُحَاسَبُ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ فِي الْقَبْرِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "The perfect faithfulness is forty days. Whoever remains faithful for forty days without selling, buying, or engaging in new transactions, will be cleansed of his sins as if he were just born."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَمَامُ الرِّبَاطِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا وَمَنْ رَابَطَ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا لَمْ يَبِعْ وَلَمْ يَشْتَرِ وَلَمْ يُحْدِثْ حَدَثًا خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of urine, as it is the first thing for which a person will be held accountable in the grave."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اتَّقُوا الْبَوْلَ فَإِنَّهُ أَوَّلُ مَا يُحَاسَبُ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ فِي الْقَبْرِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting is a protection and a fortress for the believers, and every deed belongs to its doer, and fasting is for Me, and I will reward it."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ وَهُوَ حِصْنٌ مِنْ حصونِ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَكُلُّ عَمِلٍ لِصَاحِبِهِ وَالصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not insult the leaders and invoke Allah's blessings upon them, for their righteousness is a benefit to you."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَسُبُّوا الْأَئِمَّةَ وادْعُو اللهَ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّ صَلَاحَهُمْ لَكُمْ صَلَاحٌ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, whether it hits or misses, will be rewarded with the freeing of a slave."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ قَصَّرَ أَوْ بَلَغَ كُتِبَ لَهُ عِتْقُ رَقَبَةٍ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever sends blessings upon me, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold by which an angel appointed for this purpose will convey them to me."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا بِهَا مَلَكٌ مُوَكَّلٌ بِهَا حَتَّى يُبْلِغْنِيهَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Dust does not gather in the nostrils of a servant in the way of Allah, and smoke of hellfire."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَجْتَمِعُ غُبَارٌ فِي مَنْخِرَيِّ عَبْدٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَدُخَانُ جَهَنَّمَ»  

[Machine] On the authority of Abu Umamah, that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah, has indeed completed their faith."  

عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ وَأَبْغَضَ لِلَّهِ وَأَعْطَى لِلَّهِ وَمَنَعَ لِلَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانَ»
