[Machine] I heard Abu Umamah saying, "The companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite poetry to each other and laugh, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat and smiled with them."  

الطبراني:٧٥٨١حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ الْوشا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْأَفْطَسِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَنَاشَدُونَ الْأَشْعَارَ وَيَضْحَكُونَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَالِسٌ «يَبْتَسِمُ مَعَهُمْ»
