[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever intentionally lies about me, let him take his place in a seat from amongst the eyes of Hell." This troubled his companions, so they said, "O Messenger of Allah, we talk about your hadiths, adding and omitting." He said, "That doesn't concern you. I am only referring to those who lie about me deliberately, seeking to harm Islam with it." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, you mentioned 'from amongst the eyes of Hell.' Does Hell have eyes?" He said, "Yes." Haven't you heard Him say, 'When they see it from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring?' Do they see it except with two eyes?"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ عَيْنَيْ جَهَنَّمَ» فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نُحَدِّثُ عَنْكَ بِالْحَدِيثِ نَزِيدُ وَنُنْقِصُ قَالَ «لَيْسَ ذَا أَعْنِيكُمْ إِنَّمَا أَعْنِي الَّذِي يَكْذِبُ عَلَيَّ مُتَحَدِّثًا يَطْلُبُ بِهِ شَيْنَ الْإِسْلَامِ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْ جَهَنَّمَ وَهَلْ لِجَهَنَّمَ عَيْنٌ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» أَمَا سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ {إِذَا رَأَتْهُمْ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُوا لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا} فَهَلْ تَرَاهُمْ إِلَّا بِعَيْنَيْنِ
