[Machine] "On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said, 'The one who transgresses in giving charity is like the one who withholds it.' Qutaibah, the son of Lahii'ah, used to say that Sinan ibn Saad said, and Sheikh Ahmad said the same, and Laith ibn Saad said that Sinan ibn Saad said, and others said that Sinan ibn Saad said, and Al-Bukhari said, 'The correct narration according to me is that Sinan ibn Saad and Saad ibn Saad made an error, and it was only Laila ibn Saad who said that.'"  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمُعْتَدِي فِي الصَّدَقَةِ كَمَانِعِهَا قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ كَانَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ يَقُولُ سِنَانُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ أَحْمَدُ كَذَا يَقُولُهُ اللَّيْثُ سَعْدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ سِنَانُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ الصَّحِيحُ عِنْدِي سِنَانُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَسَعْدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ خَطَأٌ إِنَّمَا قَالَهُ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ مَرَّةً سِنَانٌ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no faith for one who has no trustworthiness, and the one who transgresses in providing charity is like the one who prevents it." This is what Sinan ibn Saad said, and likewise, Sa'id ibn Abi Ayoub said, and Abu Salih also said it, narrating from Al-Laith.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا إِيمَانَ لِمَنْ لَا أَمَانَةَ لَهُ وَالْمُعْتَدِي فِي الصَّدَقَةِ كَمَانِعِهَا كَذَا قَالَ سِنَانُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَكَذَلِكَ يَقُولُهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَقَالَهُ أَيْضًا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ  

[Machine] And Al-Hasan Al-Basri said about a man who was obligated to pay zakat but did not pay it until his wealth was gone, he said: "It is a debt upon him until he fulfills it." Abu Al-Husayn Ibn Bashran informed us that Isma'il Ibn Muhammad narrated to us, who was informed by Sa'dan, who was informed by Mu'adh Ibn Mu'adh, who heard it from Ash'ath, who narrated it from Al-Hasan.  

وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ الْبَصْرِيُّ فِي رَجُلٍ وَجَبَتْ عَلَيْهِ الزَّكَاةُ فَلَمْ يُزَكِّ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ مَالُهُ قَالَ هُوَ دَيْنٌ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَهُ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا سَعْدَانُ ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فَذَكَرَهُ
