٩۔ كِتَابُ الْجَنَائِزِ
[Machine] Al-Ala is a woman from among their women who pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . She informed him that Uthman ibn Mazh'un had passed away. She said that he had participated in the arrow of the Sakina when the Ansar were voting in favor of the Muhajireen. Umm Al-Ala said that Uthman bin Mazh'un stayed with them and complained of illness, so they nursed him. When he died, they covered him with his clothes. The Prophet ﷺ entered and Umm Al-Ala said to him, "May Allah have mercy on you, O Abu Al-Sa'ib. I bear witness that Allah has honored you." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "And how do you know that Allah has honored him?" Umm Al-Ala said, "I don't know, O father of Sa'ib. By Allah, I bear witness that I will never praise anyone again." This saddened her, so she went to sleep and had a dream in which she saw Uthman's eyes flowing. She came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him about it. He said, "That is his own doing."
