bayhaqi:6842Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan b. Fūrak > ʿAbdullāh b. Jaʿfar b. Aḥmad al-Aṣbahānī > Yūnus b. Ḥabīb > Abū Dāwud > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Thābit > Kinānah b. Nuʿaym al-ʿAdawī > Abū Barzah al-Aslamī > Rasūl Allāh ﷺ Kān Fī Maghzá Lah Falammā Faragh from al-Qitāl

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a battle, and when he finished fighting, he said, "Did anyone lose someone?" They said, "By Allah, we lost so and so and so and so." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Look, did anyone lose someone?" They said, "We lost so and so and so and so." He said, "But I lost Jibreel. Look for him." They found him with seven people whom he had killed, and then they killed him. They went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him, and he said, "He killed seven, and then they killed him. This is from me, and I am from him. He killed seven, and then they killed him." He repeated this two or three times, and then he spread out his arms and they were placed on the arms of the Prophet ﷺ until a grave was dug for him. He did not have a bed except the arms of the Prophet ﷺ until he was buried. He said, "And he did not mention the washing."
