[Machine] The people said, "O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord on the Day of Judgment?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun while there are no clouds covering it?" They replied, "No." He then asked, "Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a full moon night while there are no clouds covering it?" They replied, "No, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Likewise, you will see Him on the Day of Judgment."
[Machine] I said to Ibn Abbas, "Is it you or the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who said, 'Closer to you and closer?'" He replied, "The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said it, and Allah revealed the wording to Ibrahim."

The Prophet ﷺ used to recite: The revelation of the Book and; 'Has there not been over man.' in Subh prayer on Friday. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 956)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The Fire made a complaint before the Lord saying." O Lord, some parts of mine have consumed the others." So it was allowed to take two exhalations, one exhalation in winter and the other exhalation in summer. That is why you find extreme heat (in summer) and extreme cold (in winter). (Using translation from Muslim 617a)

[Machine] "Oh my son, you reminded me of reading this Surah. It is the last Surah I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting in the Maghrib prayer."
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a cave, and the female messengers were sent down upon him. We used to receive revelation from within the cave when a snake came out towards us, so we killed it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Your evil has been averted just as its evil was averted." Al-A'mash added in his narration: Abdullah said, "We used to receive revelation from within the cave in a moist atmosphere." Abu Abdur-Rahman disagreed with him, and said that Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated it from Al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from Al-Aswad.

[Machine] My brother and I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, our mother used to show hospitality to guests and maintain family ties during the era of ignorance. Would that benefit her in any way?" He replied, "No." I then said, "But she fulfilled a pledge she made to her sister during the era of ignorance before reaching puberty." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The ma'oodah and the wa'idah will be in the Hellfire, except for the one who embraces Islam."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Mu'adh, where were you from glorifying the name of your Lord, the Most High, and the morning prayer, and when the heaven split open?"
We were in the company of Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he smiled, and said: Do you know why I laughed? We said: Allah and His Messenger, know best. Thereupon he said: It was because (there came to my mind the) talk which the servant would have with his Lord (on the Day of judgment). He would say: My Lord, have you not guaranteed me protection against injustice? He would say: Yes. Then the servant would say: I do not deem valid any witness against me but my own self, and He would say: Well, enough would be the witness of your self against you and that of the two angels who had been appointed to record your deeds. Then the seal would be set upon his mouth and it would be said to his hands and feet to speak and they would speak of his deeds. Then the mouth would be made free to talk, he would say (to the hands and feet): Be away, let there be curse of Allah upon you. It was for your safety that I contended. (Using translation from Muslim 2969)

Abu Abdur-Rahman said that Abdullah did not mention 'On the Day of Judgment', and Ubaidullah said, 'until they stand', and Abu Dawood said, 'until he disappears'."

the Messenger of Allah said: “Verily, when the slave (of Allah) commits a sin, a black spot appears on his heart. When he refrains from it, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart is polished clean.
He who is taken to account on the Day of Resurrection is in fact put to torment. I said: Has Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, not said this: 'He will be made subject to an easy reckoning" (Ixxxiv. 8)? Thereupon he said: (What it implies) is not the actual reckoning, but only the presentation of one's deeds to Him. He who is thoroughly examined in reckoning is put to torment. (Using translation from Muslim 2876a)

54.85.1 Subsection
There lived a king before you and he had a (court) magician. As he (the magician) grew old, he said to the king: I have grown old, send some young boy to me so that I should teach him magic. He (the king) sent to him a young man so that he should train him (in magic). And on his way (to the magician) he (the young man) found a monk sitting there. He (the young man) listened to his (the monk's) talk and was impressed by it. It became his habit that on his way to the magician he met the monk and set there and he came to the magician (late). He (the magician) beat him because of delay. He made a complaint of that to the monk and he said to him: When you feel afraid of the magician, say: Members of my family had detained me. And when you feel afraid of your family you should say: The magician had detained me. It so happened that there came a huge beast (of prey) and it blocked the way of the people, and he (the young boy) said: I will come to know today whether the magician is superior or the monk is superior. He picked up a stone and said: O Allah, if the affair of the monk is dearer to Thee than the affair of the magician, cause death to this animal so that the people should be able to move about freely. He threw that stone towards it and killed it and the people began to move about (on the path freely). He (the young man) then came to that monk and Informed him and the monk said: Sonny, today you are superior to me. Your affair has come to a stage where I find that you would be soon put to a trial, and in case you are put to a trial don't give my clue. That young man began to treat the blind and those suffering from leprosy and he in fact began to cure people from (all kinds) of illness. When a companion of the king who had gone blind heard about him, he came to him with numerous gifts and said: If you cure me all these things collected together here would be yours. Be said: I myself do not cure anyone. It is Allah Who cures and if you affirm faith in Allah, I shall also supplicate Allah to cure you. He affirmed his faith in Allah and Allah cured him and he came to the king and sat by his side as he used to sit before. The king said to him: Who restored your eyesight? He said: My Lord. Thereupon he said: It means that your Lord is One besides me. He said: My Lord and your Lord is Allah, so he (the king) took hold of him and tormented him till he gave a clue of that boy. The young man was thus summoned and the king said to him: O boy, it has been conveyed to me that you have become so much proficient in your magic that you cure the blind and those suffering from leprosy and you do such and such things. Thereupon he said: I do not cure anyone; it is Allah Who cures, and he (the king) took hold of him and began to torment him. So he gave a clue of the monk. The monk was thus summoned and it was said to him: You should turn back from your religion. He, however, refused to do so. He (ordered) for a saw to be brought (and when it was done) he (the king) placed it in the middle of his head and tore it into parts till a part fell down. Then the courtier of the king was brought and it was said to him: Turn back from your religion. Arid he refused to do so, and the saw was placed in the midst of his head and it was torn till a part fell down. Then that young boy was brought and it was said to him: Turn back from your religion. He refused to do so and he was handed over to a group of his courtiers. And he 'said to them: Take him to such and such mountain; make him climb up that mountain and when you reach its top (ask him to renounce his faith) but if he refuses to do so, then throw him (down the mountain). So they took him and made him climb up the mountain and he said: O Allah, save me from them (in any way) Thou likest and the mountain began to quake and they all fell down and that person came walking to the king. The king said to him: What has happened to your companions? He said: Allah has saved me from them. He again handed him to some of his courtiers and said: Take him and carry him in a small boat and when you reach the middle of the ocean (ask him to renounce) his religion, but if he does not renounce his religion throw him (into the water). So they took him and he said: O Allah, save me from them and what they want to do. It was quite soon that the boat turned over and they were drowned and he came walking to the king, and the king said to him: What has happened to your companions? He said: Allah has saved me from them, and he said to the king: You cannot kill me until you do what I ask you to do. And he said: What is that? He said: You should gather people in a plain and hang me by the trunk (of a tree). Then take hold of an arrow from the quiver and say: In the name of Allah, the Lord of the young boy; then shoot an arrow and if you do that then you would be able to kill me. So he (the king) called the people in an open plain and tied him (the boy) to the trunk of a tree, then he took hold of an arrow from his quiver and then placed the arrow in the bow and then said: In the name of Allah, the Lord of the young boy; he then shot an arrow and it bit his temple. He (the boy) placed his hands upon the temple where the arrow had bit him and he died and the people said: We affirm our faith in the Lord of this young man, we affirm our faith in the Lord of this young man, we affirm our faith in the Lord of this young man. The courtiers came to the king and it was said to him: Do you see that Allah has actually done what you aimed at averting. They (the people) have affirmed their faith in the Lord. He (the king) commanded ditches to be dug at important points in the path. When these ditches were dug, and the fire was lit in them it was said (to the people): He who would not turn back from his (boy's) religion would be thrown in the fire or it would be said to them to jump in that. (The people courted death but did not renounce religion) till a woman came with her child and she felt hesitant in jumping into the fire and the child said to her: 0 mother, endure (this ordeal) for it is the Truth. So, he did not settle until the verse "Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High" (Surah Al-A'la, 87:1) was revealed. This is a verse from the Mufassal Surahs. Abu 'Abdur-Rahman As-Sawab said: "It is not 'Uthman, it is 'Umar."

[Machine] How does Abdullah recite "By the night when it covers, And [by] the day when it appears, And [by] the male and female"?, He said, Abdullah used to recite it like this. Abu Darda said, I heard it like this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
[Machine] Read to me the passage and during the night when it covers, I recited upon him (and the night when it covers and the day when it shines and the male and the female) He said, "I heard it this way from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." and the wording is from Al-Hasan.
We attended a funeral at Baql’ al-Gharqad which was also attended by the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) came and sat down. He had a stick (in his hand) by which he began to scratch up the ground. He then raised his head and said : The place which every one of you and every soul of you will occupy in Hell or in Paradise has been recorded, and destined wicked or blesses. A man from among the people asked : Prophet of Allah! Should we not then trust simply in what has been recorded for us and abandon (doing good) deeds? Those who are among the number of the blessed will be inclined to blessing, and those of us who are among the number of the wicked will be inclined to wickedness. He replied : Go on doing good actions, for everyone is helped to do that for which he was created. Those who are among the number of wicked will be helped to do wicked deeds. The Prophet of Allah (May peace be upon him) then recited: “So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah), and in all sincerity testifies to the best, we will indeed make smooth for him the path to bliss. But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, and gives the lie to the best, We will indeed make smooth for him the path of misery.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4694)
We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ at a funeral - I [the narrator] think he said in Baqeeʿ al-Gharqad - and he struck the ground (with a stick), then he lifted his head and said: “There is no one among you but Allah has decreed his place in Paradise or his place in Hell.” We said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, shouldnʿt we rely on that? He said: ʿNo, rather strive, for each will be enabled [to do the appropriate deeds].” Then he recited: ʿAs for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him, And believes in Al-Husna.ʿ We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness). But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self sufficient. And belies Al-Husna. We will make smooth for him the path for evil” [Al-Lail 92:5-10]. (Al-Husna: The Best (i.e. either La ilaha illAllaah: none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) or a reward from Allah (i.e. Allah will compensate him for what he will spend in Allahʿs way or bless him with Paradise) Footnote from Hilali/Khan Translation of meanings) (Using translation from Aḥmad 1110)
The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) was asked : Is it known who are those who will go to paradise and those who will go to hell? He said : Yes. He asked : Then what is the good of doing anything by those who act? He replied : Everyone is helped to do for which he has been created. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4709)
54.93 Sūrat al-Dhuḥá
[Machine] Gabriel slowed down in delivering the message to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , so a woman said, "His companion has left him." Then the following verse was revealed: "By the morning brightness, and [by] the night when it covers with darkness," [Quran 93:1-2].

" By the Fig and the Olive." (Using translation from Muslim 464b)
54.96 Sūrat al-ʿAlaq
[Machine] Abu Jahl said, "Does Muhammad forgive the face of his amongst the polytheists?" It was said, "Yes." He said, "By Lat and al-'Uzza, if I were to see him like that, I would trample his neck or I would even extinguish his face in the dirt." So, he came to the Messenger of Allah while he was praying and claimed that he wanted to trample his neck. He said, "But they did not find him except retreating on his heels and protecting himself with his hands." It was said, "What is wrong with you?" He said, "Indeed, there is a trench of fire and horror between me and him, and wings." So, the Messenger of Allah said, "If he had come near me, the angels would have seized him limb by limb."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ prayed, then Abu Jahl came and said, "Did I not forbid you from this?" By Allah, you know that there are more people who listen to it than me. So Allah revealed, "Then let him call his associates; we will call the angels of Hell" [Quran 96:18]. Ibn Abbas said, "By Allah, if he had called his associates, the angels of Hell would have taken him."
[Machine] "In His saying {Soon We will call the forces of Hell.} [Surah Al-'Alaq, verse 18]. He (the Prophet) ﷺ said, 'If Abu Jahl had done it, the angels would have seized him openly.'"
54.97 Sūrat al-Qadr
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the Night of Qadr, and he replied, "Search for it in the last ten nights of Ramadan."
