54. Tafsīr (Exegesis) (15/15)
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when bowing: 'Subbuhun Quddusun Rabbul-mala'ikati war-ruh (Perfect, Most Holy, is the Lord of the angels and the spirit).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1048)
"O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?" He said: "Say: 'Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni (O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me).'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3850)
[Machine] The Quran was revealed in its entirety in one night, which is the Night of Decree. Allah used to reveal it to the Messenger of Allah piece by piece. They said, "Why was the Quran not revealed to him all at once? In that case, your heart would have been firm, but it was revealed piecemeal." [Surah Al-Furqan, 32]
[Machine] If it were not for your foolishness, I would have put my hand in my ear and called out that the Night of Decree is the twenty-seventh night, a narration from one who did not lie to me about a narration from one who did not lie to me, meaning from Ubai ibn Ka'b, from the Prophet ﷺ . Abu Abdullah said, "Your fools, the letter 'ha' has fallen from my book."

Allah has commanded me to recite to you:" Those who disbelieve were not..." (al-Qur'an, xcviii. 1). He said: Did He mention me by name? He (the Prophet said): Yes. Upon this he shed tears (of gratitude). (Using translation from Muslim 799b)
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I have been informed by Ziyad ibn Ayyub, Muhammad ibn Al-Ala, and Hasan ibn Ismail, who said Ibn Idris told us that he heard Al-Mukhtar ibn Fulful mentioning that he heard Anas saying: A man said to the Prophet ﷺ , 'O best of creation!' He replied, 'That was Ibrahim.' Abu Kurayb and Hasan also said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and Ziyad mentioned it from Anas."
54.99 Sūrat Az-Zalzalah
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: That Day it will declare its information. And said: 'Do you know what its information is?' they said: 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said: 'Indeed its information is that it will testify against every servant, male and female, It will say that he did such and such, on such and such a day.' He said: 'With this it shall be ordered.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2429)
[Machine] I arrived at the Prophet ﷺ and I heard him saying, "Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it." [Quran 99:7-8]. He said, "I do not care if I do not hear anything else, this is sufficient for me. This is sufficient for me."

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was reciting the verse "The mutual rivalry in worldly increase diverts you" [Surah Al-Takathur, Verse 1] and he continued until he completed it.
"The mutual rivalry (for piling up of worldly things) diverts you, 'Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die).' The son of Adam says: 'My wealth, my wealth,' but your wealth is what you eat and consume, or what you wear and it wears out, or what you give in charity and send on ahead (for the Hereafter).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3613)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, the bliss that you will be asked about on the Day of Judgment is the cool shade and the cold, refreshing water." It is summarized.

[Machine] In His saying, exalted and mighty is He, "{For the alliance of the Quraish, their alliance of the caravan in winter and summer.} " [Quraysh 1]. He said, "It is because of My favor upon Quraish that they were able to travel in winter and summer." [Quraysh 2]. He said, "They used to journey from Makkah in winter and go to Taif in summer." "So let them worship the Lord of this House (the Ka'bah in Makkah) who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear." [Quraysh 4].

قَوْلُهُ: {الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ}
“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., make known to the people his true motives and intentions).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4206)
During the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ we used to consider ma'un (this of daily use) lending a bucket and cooking-pot. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1657)
54.108 Sūrat al-Kawthar
"One day when he-the Prophet ﷺ- was still among us, he took a nap, then he raised his head, smiling. We said to him: 'Why are you smiling, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Just now this Surah was revealed to me: In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Verily, We have granted you (O Muahmmad) Al-Kawthar. Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). For he who hates you, he will be cut off.' Then he said: 'Do you know what Al-Kawthar is?' We said: 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said: 'It is a river that my Lord has promised me in Paradise. Its vessels are more than the number of the stars. My Ummah will come to me, then a man among them will be pulled away and I will say: "O Lord, he is one of my Ummah" and He will say to me: 'You do not know what he did after you were gone." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 904)
"What is Al-Kawthar?" He said: "That is a river that Allah has given me"- that is, in Paradise- 'whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. In it are birds whose necks are like the necks of camels." 'Umar said: "Indeed this is plump and luxurious then." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Those who consume it are more plumb than it." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2542)
[Machine] He is the best and abundant one who Allah, blessed and exalted be He, has given it to him.
[Machine] "A river given to him by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the center of paradise," I asked, "What is the center of paradise?" She replied, "Its two sides are hollowed-out pearls."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I entered Paradise and there I saw a river with banks made of pearls. I dipped my hand into its water and it was made of pure musk. I asked, 'O Gabriel, what is this?' He said, 'This is Al-Kawthar which Allah has granted you.'"
[Machine] When Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf arrived in Mecca, the Quraysh said to him, "You are the best of the people of Medina and their leader." He responded, "Yes." They said, "Do you not see this man from his people who claims to be better than us, and we are the people of Hajj and the people of the Kāba?" He said, "You are better than him." Then, the verse was revealed, "For he who hates you, he will be cut off" (Quran 108:3). And the verse was revealed, "Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, believing in superstition and false deities?" (Quran 4:51) until His saying, "So you will never find for him a helper" (Quran 4:52).
54.109 Sūrat al-Kāfirūn
The Prophet ﷺ would recite in the two (supererogatory) rak'ahs of the dawn prayer: "Say, O unbelievers" [Surat al-Kafiroon:1] and "Say: He is Allah, the one" [Surat al-Ikhlas:1] (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1256)
[Machine] "I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : 'I have come to you, O Messenger of Allah, to teach me something to say when I go to sleep.' He replied: 'When you go to bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun, then sleep. For it is an immunity from shirk (polytheism)."
54.110 Sūrat al-Naṣr
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ often said while bowing and prostrating himself; “Glory be to Thee, O Allah, out Lord.” And “Praise be to Thee, O Allah, forgive me,” Thus interpreting the (command in the Qur’an). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 877)
[Machine] About this verse, "When the victory of Allah and the conquest comes" [Surah Al-Nasr 1], what was its occasion? Some of them said that Allah commanded His Prophet when he saw people entering Islam and embracing the religion with ease, to praise and seek forgiveness from Allah. Umar said, "Do you not admire the knowledge of Ibn Abbas? O Ibn Abbas, come here, why don't you speak?" He asked him about when he would die. He said, "When the victory of Allah and the conquest comes, and you see people entering the religion of Allah in crowds" [Surah Al-Nasr 2], then it is your sign of death. He said, "You spoke the truth, by the One in whose hand is my soul, I only knew from it what you have mentioned."
[Machine] When the verse "When the victory of Allah and the conquest comes" [Surah An-Nasr, verse 1] was revealed to the end of the Surah, the Prophet ﷺ thought it was referring to his own death. He became very serious and put more effort into matters of the hereafter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "The conquest has come and the victory of Allah has come and the people from Yemen have come." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, who are the people from Yemen?" He replied, "They are a people with gentle hearts, their hearts are accommodating to faith, they are people of Yemen and wisdom is Yemeni and understanding is Yemeni."

54.111 Sūrat al-Masad
One day the Prophet ﷺ ascended Safa mountain and said, "Oh Sabah! " All the Quraish gathered round him and said, "What is the matter?" He said, Look, if I told you that an enemy is going to attack you in the morning or in the evening, would you not believe me?" They said, "Yes, we will believe you." He said, "I am a warner to you in face of a terrible punishment." On that Abu Lahab said, "May you perish ! Is it for this thing that you have gathered us?" So Allah revealed: 'Perish the hands of Abu Lahab!...' (111.1) (Using translation from Bukhārī 4801)

"I went out with the Messenger of Allah and heard a man reciting Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad [Allahus-Samad] so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is obligatory.' I said: 'What is obligatory?' He said: 'Paradise.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2897)
[Machine] He entered the mosque with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and behold, a man was praying and supplicating, saying, "O Allah, I ask You by bearing witness that there is no god but You, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and there is none equal to Him." He (the Prophet) said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, he has certainly asked Allah with His greatest name, by which if He is asked, He gives, and if He is called upon, He answers." Zaid bin Al-Hubab said, "So I narrated it to Zuhair bin Muawiya." He said, "Sufyan informed us about this hadith, from Malik bin Mighwal." Zuhair said, "And I heard Abu Ishaq narrating it from Malik bin Mighwal."
I asked Ubay b. Kaʿb regarding the two Muʿawwidhāt (Sūrahs of seeking refuge in Allah). He said: I asked the Prophet ﷺ about them and he said, "They are for me and I have ˹recited˺ them." Now, we ˹recite˺ as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ˹recited.˺"
