And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus ˹it is˺ that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.  

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا  

[Machine] "The Quran was revealed in one complete sentence on the night of Al-Qadr to the sky of this world, which was in the position of the stars. Allah would reveal it to His Messenger ﷺ bit by bit. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: 'And those who disbelieved say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.' [Surah Al-Furqan: 32]."  

فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ} [القدر 1] قَالَ «أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا كَانَ بِمَوْقِعِ النُّجُومِ» فَكَانَ اللَّهُ يُنَزِّلُهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ ﷺ بَعْضُهُ فِي أَثَرِ بَعْضٍ قَالَ ﷻ {وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً كَذَلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا} [الفرقان 32]  

[Machine] Abu Bakr and Uthman, the sons of Abu Shaybah, narrated that Jarir reported from Mansour, who reported from Sa'id ibn Jubair, who reported from Ibn Abbas regarding the saying of Allah, 'Verily, We have sent it down in the Night of Power.' (Quran 97:1) He said, "The Quran was revealed as a whole in one night of the Night of Power to the lower heaven, in the position of the stars. And Allah would reveal it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ part by part in succession." He also said, "They said, 'Why was the Quran not sent down to him all at once? Thus, we would strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you in gradual stages.'" (Quran 25:32)  

ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُثْمَانُ ابْنَا أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ} [القدر 1] قَالَ أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا وَكَانَ بِمَوْقِعِ النُّجُومِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ يُنَزِّلُهُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْضَهُ فِي أَثَرِ بَعْضٍ قَالَ وَقَالُوا {لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً كَذَلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا} [الفرقان 32]  

[Machine] In His statement, "Indeed, We sent it down during the Night of Decree", it is said that the Qur'an was revealed all at once to the heavens of the world and it was positioned with the stars. Allah would send it to His Messenger ﷺ bit by bit in intervals. Allah said, "And those who disbelieved say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly."  

فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ} [القدر 1] قَالَ أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا وَكَانَ بِمَوْقِعِ النُّجُومِ وَكَانَ اللهُ ﷻ يُنَزِّلُهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ ﷺ بَعْضُهُ فِي أَثَرِ بَعْضٍ فَقَالَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً كَذَلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا}
