from the Prophet ﷺ who said: The ten are the ten of ˹days˺ of Adha (Dhu al-Hijjah), the odd is the Day of Arafah, and the even is the Day of Nahr (sacrifice).  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْعَشْرَ عَشْرُ الْأَضْحَى وَالْوَتْرَ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَالشَّفْعَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ»  

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, regarding "By the Dawn; and the Ten Nights" (Fajr 2): The ten are the ten of ˹days˺ of Adha (Dhu al-Hijjah), the odd is the Day of Arafah, and the even is the Day of Nahr (sacrifice).  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ {وَالْفَجْرِ وَلِيَالٍ عَشْرٍ} [الفجر 1] «عَشْرُ الْأُضْحِيَّةِ وَالْوِتْرُ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَالشَّفْعُ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ»  

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the dawn and by the ten nights' [Surah Al-Fajr, verse 2]. He said, 'The ten nights refer to the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, and the odd number refers to the day of Arafah, and the even number refers to the day of sacrifice.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ {وَالْفَجْرِ وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ} [الفجر 2] قَالَ «عَشْرُ النَّحْرُ وَالْوَتْرُ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَالشَّفْعُ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ»  

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the dawn and the ten nights.' [Quran 89:1] He said, 'The ten nights refer to the ten days of sacrifice (during Hajj), and the odd (nights) refer to the day of Arafah and the day of sacrifice.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ {وَالْفَجْرِ وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ} [الفجر 1] قَالَ عَشْرُ النَّحْرِ وَالْوَتْرُ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَالشَّفْعُ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ  

"إِنَّ الْعَشْرَ عَشْرُ الأَضْحَى، وَالْوَتْرَ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ، والشَّفْعَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ".  

"الْعَشْرُ عَشْر الأَضْحَى، والْوَتْرُ يَوْمُ عرفة، والشَّفْعُ يومُ النَّحْرِ ".
