15. Chapter of Ṣād (Male) (8/19)
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ called for his two sandals and wore one of them. Then a crow came and took the other sandal, and a snake came out of it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not wear his two sandals until he shakes them off."
Mujahid said that Abdullah ibn Amr slaughtered a sheep and said: Have you presented a gift from it to my neighbour, the Jew, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Gabriel kept on commending the neighbour to me so that I thought he would make an heir? (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5152)
[Machine] "From the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , that Maryam asked her Lord for flesh without blood in it, so He fed her locusts. She said, 'O Allah, make him live without breastfeeding and make him follow You without being satisfied.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came during the Farewell Pilgrimage on a camel until he stood in the middle of the people on the day of Arafah. He asked, "Which day is this?" They replied, "It is the sacred day of Arafah." He asked, "Which month is it?" They replied, "It is the sacred month." He asked, "Which city is this?" They replied, "It is the sacred city." He said, "Verily, your wealth, your honor, and your blood are sacred to you, just as this day of yours, in this month of yours, and in this city of yours. Behold! Every Prophet's claim has expired except my claim. I have preserved it with my Lord until the Day of Resurrection. After me, there will be numerous Prophets, so do not disgrace me. Indeed, I will be waiting for you at the Fountain."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "No servant dies on the day of his death and leaves behind yellow and white [i.e., gray] except that he will be purified with it."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The exposed private parts are to be covered, and the discharges are to be washed away. If one finds a yellowish trace, it is not permissible for him to have sexual intercourse until he removes it."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "A man who is not a prophet but is like the two 'Hayyayn' (known for their strong devotion to worship) or anyone of them, Rabee'ah or Mudhar, will enter Paradise through his intercession."
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Verily, among the best of people are the rulers of Himyar, Sufyan, Sakun, and the Ash'ariyyin."
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "Make the sermon brief and speak less" when he sent a commander (to a mission).
[Machine] "On the authority of Amr Al-Hadrami, from the people of Homs, from Abu Umamah Al-Bahili, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us one day, and the majority of his sermon was about the mentioning of the Dajjal (the Antichrist), warning us about him and informing us about him until he finished his sermon. On that day, he said to us: Indeed, Allah ﷻ has not sent a Prophet except that he warned his nation. And I am the last of the Prophets, and you are the last of the nations. And indeed, he will come out amongst you without a doubt. If he comes out while I am among you, then I am the guardian of every Muslim. And if he comes out amongst you after me, then every person will be his own guardian. And Allah ﷻ is my Caliph over every Muslim. Indeed, he will emerge from a place between Iraq and Sham (Syria). He will wander to the right and to the left. O servants of Allah, remain firm. Indeed, he will start by claiming to be a Prophet, and there will be no Prophet after me. And indeed, it will be written between his eyes that he is a disbeliever, and every believer will be able to read it. So, whoever among you meets him, then let him spit in his face and read the Surah of the People of the Cave against him. And indeed, he will be given control over a person from the offspring of Adam, and he will kill him, then bring him back to life. And he will not be able to do the same with anyone else. Indeed, one of his trials is that he will have Paradise and Hell with him. His Hell will be Paradise, and his Paradise will be Hell. So, whoever is tested with his Hellfire, then let him close his eyes and seek refuge with Allah, for it will become cool and peaceful, just as the fire was cool and peaceful for Ibrahim (Abraham). And indeed, his (Dajjal's) days will be forty days. One day will be like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest of the days will be like normal days. And the last of his days will be like a mirage. A man will approach the gate of the city in the morning, walking, and by evening he will reach the other gate. So, the companions asked: O Messenger of Allah, how should we pray in those short days? He replied: Estimate (the timings) in them as you estimate the timings in the longer days."

[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "I have committed a sin, so impose the punishment on me." But the Messenger of Allah turned away from him. Then he said, "I have committed a sin, so impose the punishment on me." But again the Messenger of Allah turned away from him. Then he said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have committed a sin, so impose the punishment on me." But the Messenger of Allah turned away from him. Then the prayer was established. When the Messenger of Allah finished the prayer, he said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have committed a sin, so impose the punishment on me." He (the Prophet) said, "Did you perform ablution?" He said, "Yes." He (the Prophet) said, "And did you pray when we prayed?" He said, "Yes." He (the Prophet) said, "Then go, for Allah has forgiven you."

The man repeated his request, saying, "I have committed a sin, so establish the punishment on me." The Prophet ﷺ said, "The prayer has been established." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered and left. Shaddad said, "Abu Umamah told me that I walked with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the man followed him, saying, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have committed a sin, so establish the punishment on me.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, 'When you left your house, did you perform ablution and do it well?' He replied, 'Yes.' The Prophet ﷺ asked, 'Did you bear witness to the prayer with us?' He replied, 'Yes.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah has forgiven your sin.'"

[Machine] Narrated Abu Umamah Al-Bahiliyy:
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: When the children of Ma'din bin Adnan reached the number of forty men, they attacked the camp of Musa ﷺ and they were defeated. So Musa ﷺ invoked (Allah) against them saying: O Lord, these are the children of Ma'din who have attacked my camp. So Allah inspired to him: O Musa bin Imran, do not invoke (Allah) against them, for among them is the unlettered prophet who warns and brings glad tidings about my Paradise. And among them is the doomed nation of the mother of Muhammad, who are satisfied with minimal provision from Allah and Allah is satisfied with minimal deeds from them. So Allah will admit them into Paradise by saying: There is no god but Allah. For indeed, their prophet, Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Muttalib is humble in his appearance, he has the deepest insight into silence, he speaks with wisdom and he practices forbearance. I brought him out from the best generation of his nation, the Quraysh, then I brought him out from the best of the Quraysh, the Banu Hashim. So they are better than the best, and they will continue to become better, and his nation will continue to become better.
