[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Khaibar and we prayed Fajr prayer with him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode, Abu Talha rode, and I (narrator) rode in the same line as Abu Talha. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raced in a narrow street in Khaibar and his thigh was exposed. I was looking at the whiteness of his thigh. He then came to Khaibar and said, "When we descend upon the territory of a people, it is a terrible morning for those who have been warned." He said, "They went out to their work and some of our companions said, 'Muhammad said...' Abdul Aziz said... Al-Khamis said...' So we attacked them by force." He said, "Then he gathered the spoils of war and Dihya came to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, give me a slave girl from the spoils of war.' He said, 'Go, take a slave girl.'" So he took Safiyyah and a man said, "O Messenger of Allah, why did you take Safiyyah? She is not suitable for anyone except you." He said, "Call her." So when he looked at her, he said, "Take another one instead." So he freed her and married her. It was said, "O Abu Hamzah, how true was she?" He said, "She testified to her own truthfulness."

[Machine] Abu Talib fell ill, so the Quraysh came to visit him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also visited him and sat by his head. There was a seat of a man, so Abu Jahl came and sat in it. Then he said, "Don't you see that your nephew is following our idols?" Abu Talib's son replied, "Why do your people complain about him?" Abu Jahl said, "I want them to have a word by which they honor the Arabs and make the non-Arabs pay the jizyah." Abu Jahl asked, "What is it?" He replied, "There is no deity but Allah." They said, "You want to make the idols one?" Then Surah Saad was revealed, and he recited until he reached, "astonishing."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray, and then the Shaytan came to him and seized him in order to strangle him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I felt the coolness of his tongue in my hand, and if not for the supplication of my brother Sulaiman ﷺ , I would have remained tied up until people saw me."
"The Prophet ﷺ said, "Last night a big demon (afreet) from the Jinns came to me and wanted to interrupt my prayers (or said something similar) but Allah enabled me to overpower him. I wanted to fasten him to one of the pillars of the mosque so that all of you could See him in the morning but I remembered the statement of my brother Solomon (as stated in Quran): My Lord! Forgive me and bestow on me a kingdom such as shall not belong to anybody after me (38.35)." The sub narrator Rauh said, "He (the demon) was dismissed humiliated." (Using translation from Bukhārī 461)
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There is nothing between the people and looking to their Lord except the garment of pride upon their faces in the gardens of eternity.' "
“Angels come to the dying person, and if the man was righteous, they say: ‘Come out, O good soul that was in a good body, come out praiseworthy and receive glad tidings of mercy and fragrance and a Lord Who is not angry.’ And this is repeated until it comes out, then it is taken up to heaven, and it is opened for it, and it is asked: ‘Who is this?’ They say: ‘So-and-so.’ It is said: ‘Welcome to the good soul that was in a good body. Enter praiseworthy and receive the glad tidings of mercy and fragrance and a Lord Who is not angry.’ And this is repeated until it is brought to the heaven above which is Allah. But if the man was evil, they say: ‘Come out O evil soul that was in an evil body. Come out blameworthy, and receive the tidings of boiling water and the discharge of dirty wounds,’ and other torments of similar kind, all together. And this is repeated until it comes out, then it is taken up to heaven and it is not opened for it. And it is asked: ‘Who is this?’ It is said: ‘So-and-so.’ And it is said: ‘No welcome to the evil soul that was in an evil body. Go back blameworthy, for the gates of heaven will not be opened to you.’ So it is sent back down from heaven, then it goes to the grave.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4262)

"Adam and Musa argued, Musa said: "O Adam! You are the one that Allah created with His Hand, and blew into you of His Spirit, and you misled the people and caused them to be expelled from Paradise.' So Adam said: 'You are Musa, the one Allah selected with His Speech! Are you blaming me for something I did which Allah had decreed for me, before creating the heavens and the earth?'" He said: " So Adam confuted Musa." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2134)

[Machine] Al-A'mash, so I asked him, "From whom did you hear this, O Abu Abdallah?" He said, "It was narrated to us by Abu Abdur-Rahman As-Salami, from Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says: "Whoever takes away both of My precious ones, then he has sought recompense and showed patience, I will not give him any reward other than Paradise."
[Machine] This verse was revealed and we do not know for what it was revealed {Then indeed, on the Day of Resurrection you will be resurrected}. We said, who do we argue with? There is no dispute between us and the People of the Book. Until the fitna occurred, Ibn Umar said, "This is what our Lord has promised us to dispute about."
My father said, "One night we were traveling with the Prophet ﷺ and some people said, 'We wish that Messenger of Allah ﷺ would take a rest along with us during the last hours of the night.' He said, 'I am afraid that you will sleep and miss the (Fajr) prayer.' Bilal said, 'I will make you get up.' So all slept and Bilal rested his back against his Rahila and he too was overwhelmed (by sleep) and slept. The Prophet ﷺ got up when the edge of the sun had risen and said, 'O Bilal! What about your statement?' He replied, 'I have never slept such a sleep.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Allah captured your souls when He wished, and released them when He wished. O Bilal! Get up and pronounce the Adhan for the prayer.' The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution and when the sun came up and became bright, he stood up and prayed." (Using translation from Bukhārī 595)

Some pagans who committed murders in great number and committed illegal sexual intercourse excessively, came to Muhammad and said, "O Muhammad! Whatever you say and invite people to, is good: but we wish if you could inform us whether we can make an expiration for our (past evil) deeds." So the Divine Verses came: 'Those who invoke not with Allah any other god, not kill such life as Allah has forbidden except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse.' (25.68) And there was also revealed:-- 'Say: O My slaves who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah.' (39.53) (Using translation from Bukhārī 4810)

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about His saying ﷻ "and the earth, all of it, will be His grip on the Day of Resurrection and the heavens will be folded in His right hand." I said, "So where will the people be on that day?" He said, "On a bridge over the Hellfire."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "All the inhabitants of Paradise will say: 'If it were not for Allah's guidance, we would not have been grateful,' and all the inhabitants of Hellfire will say: 'If it were not for Allah's guidance, we would have been full of regret.'"

"The Messenger of Allah said: Allah will seize the earth on the Day of Ressurection, and He will roll up the heavens in his Right Hand, then He will say, "I am the Sovereign. Where are the kings of the earth?'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 192)

[Machine] An Arab asked the Prophet ﷺ , "What are the Suroor?" Suede said, "An Arab came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, 'What are the Suroor?' He replied, 'A horn that is blown into.'"
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَصَعِقَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَنْ شَاءَ اللهُ}
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not make me choose between myself and Moses, for on the Day of Resurrection, people will be in a state of shock, and I will be the first to regain consciousness. Then Moses will be holding on to the side of the throne, and I do not know whether he will be shocked and regain consciousness before me or if he will be among those whom Allah has exempted."

A priest from the Jews came (to the Prophet) and said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will place all the heavens on one finger, and the Earth on one finger, and the waters and the land on one finger, and all the creation on one finger, and then He will shake them and say. 'I am the King! I am the King!'" I saw the Prophet ﷺ smiling till his premolar teeth became visible expressing his amazement and his belief in what he had said. Then the Prophet ﷺ recited: 'No just estimate have they made of Allah such as due to Him (up to)...; High is He above the partners they attribute to Him.' (39.67) (Using translation from Bukhārī 7513)
A Jew came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Muhammad! Allah will hold the heavens on a Finger, and the mountains on a Finger, and the trees on a Finger, and all the creation on a Finger, and then He will say, 'I am the King.' " On that Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled till his premolar teeth became visible, and then recited:-- 'No just estimate have they made of Allah such as due to him....(39.67) ʿAbdullah added: Allah's Apostle smiled (at the Jew's statement) expressing his wonder and belief in what was said.
[Machine] A man from the People of the Book came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and said, "Indeed, Allah carries the heavens on a finger, and carries the earth and the water and the soil on a finger, and carries the trees on a finger, and carries all creatures on a finger, and then he says, 'I am the King'." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed until his molars were visible.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not differentiate between the Prophets of Allah, for when the trumpet is blown, everyone in the heavens and on earth will be struck dead except whomever Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and I will be the first one to be resurrected. When Moses ﷺ is holding on to the Throne, I do not know whether I will be questioned about the thunderbolt at Mount Tur, or whether I will be resurrected before him. And I do not say that anyone is better than Jonah, son of Matta."
Abu Huraira said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Between the two sounds of the trumpet, there will be forty." Somebody asked Abu Huraira, "Forty days?" But he refused to reply. Then he asked, "Forty months?" He refused to reply. Then he asked, "Forty years?" Again, he refused to reply. Abu Huraira added. "Then (after this period) Allah will send water from the sky and then the dead bodies will grow like vegetation grows, There is nothing of the human body that does not decay except one bone; that is the little bone at the end of the coccyx of which the human body will be recreated on the Day of Resurrection." (See Hadith No. 338) (Using translation from Bukhārī 4935)
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day on the pulpit saying, "O people." She said, while she was combing her hair, she turned her head and stood up from behind her room. She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "O people, while I am at the Pond, a group will pass by you and the paths will diverge from you. So I will call you, 'Come to the path.' Then a caller from behind me will call, 'They have changed after you.' So I will say, 'Woe, woe.'

"I heard Abdullah bin Az-Zubair speaking from the Minbar, saying: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the taslim, he would say: "La Ilaha Illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir, la hawla wala quwwata illa billahil-'azim; la ilaha ill-Allahu wa la nabbed illa iyyah, ahlan-ni'mati wal-fadli wath-thana'il-has an; la ilaha ill-Allah, mukhlisina lahud-dina wa law karihal-kafirun (There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT) alone, with no partner or associate. There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we worship none but Him, the source of blessing and kindness and the One Who is deserving of all good praise. There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him even though the disbelievers detest it. ) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1339)
[Machine] He was asked, "What is the most severe thing you have witnessed Quraysh do to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" He said, "One day, he passed by them and they said to him, 'Are you the one who forbids us from worshiping what our fathers worship?' He replied, 'Yes.' Then they got up and grabbed him by his garments. I saw Abu Bakr embracing him from behind, screaming while tears poured from his eyes, saying, '{Will you kill a man simply because he says, 'My Lord is Allah'}?' [Surah Ghafir, verse 28]."

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When anyone of you dies, he is shown his place both in the morning and in the evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise; he is shown his place in it, and if he is from the people of the Hell-Fire; he is shown his place there-in. Then it is said to him, 'This is your place till Allah resurrect you on the Day of Resurrection." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1379)

[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ regarding the saying of Allah, "And your Lord says, 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you'" [Quran 40:60], he said, "Supplication is worship." Then he recited, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you. Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible." [Quran 40:60] The wording is by Hannad.

Then she said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is it enough for you that the young daughter of Abu Bakr waves her hands in front of you?' Then she turned to me, but I ignored her until the Prophet said: 'You should say something to defend yourself.' [Machine] A man from the Jews came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Do you think that the people of Paradise eat and drink?" He ﷺ said, "Yes, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, a man among them will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, sexual intercourse, and desire." So the man said, "If a person eats and drinks, then he will have a need, so will there be any harm in Paradise?" He ﷺ said to him, "The need of one of them will be a runny discharge that overflows from his skin, but when his stomach is full, it will contract."

I found myself in Hijr and the Quraish were asking me about my might journey. I was asked about things pertaining to Bait-ul-Maqdis which I could not preserve (in my mind). I was very much vexed, so vexed as I had never been before. Then Allah raised it (Bait-ul-Maqdis) before my eyes. I looked towards it, and I gave them the information about whatever they questioned me I also saw myself among the group of apostles. I saw Moses saying prayer and found him to be a well-built man as if he was a man of the tribe of Shanu'a. I saw Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) offering prayer, of all of men he had the closest resemblance with 'Urwa b. Masu'd al-Thaqafi. I saw Ibrahim (peace be upon him) offering prayer; he had the closest resemblance with your companion (the Prophet himself) amongst people. When the time of prayer came I led them. When I completed the prayer, someone said: Here is Malik, the keeper of the Hell; pay him salutations. I turned to him, but he preceded me in salutation. (Using translation from Muslim 172)

It (i.e., the imagined smoke) was because, when the Quraish refused to obey the Prophet, he asked Allah to afflict them with years of famine similar to those of (Prophet) Joseph. So they were stricken with famine and fatigue, so much so that they ate even bones. A man would look towards the sky and imagine seeing something like smoke between him and the sky because of extreme fatigue. So Allah revealed:-- 'Then watch you for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke plainly visible, covering the people; this is a painfull of torment.' (44.10-11) Then someone (Abu Sufyan) came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Invoke Allah to send rain for the tribes of Mudar for they are on the verge of destruction." On that the Prophet ﷺ said (astonishingly) "Shall I invoke Allah) for the tribes of Mudar? Verily, you are a brave man!" But the Prophet prayed for rain and it rained for them. Then the Verse was revealed. 'But truly you will return (to disbelief).' (44.15) (When the famine was over and) they restored prosperity and welfare, they reverted to their ways (of heathenism) whereupon Allah revealed: 'On the Day when We shall seize you with a Mighty Grasp. We will indeed (then) exact retribution.' (44.16) The narrator said, "That was the day of the Battle of Badr." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4821)

He said: 'The Hour will not begin until ten signs appear: The rising of the sun from the west (place of its setting); Dajjal; the smoke; the beast; Gog and Magog people; the appearance of 'Eisa bin Maryam(as), the earth collapsing three times - once in the east, one in the west and one in the Arabian Peninsula; and fire that will emerge from the plain of Aden Abyan and will drive the people to the place of Gathering, stopping with them when they stop at night and when they stop to rest at midday." [Machine] Indeed, when the Quraysh became stubborn against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "O Allah, assist me with seven like the aid of Prophet Yusuf." So, they were afflicted with a year of famine during which everything was rationed, and they had to eat the hides and carrion. Another narration says they had to eat the hides and bones. Then, the famine became so severe that it seemed like smoke rising from the ground. Abu Sufyan came and said, "Indeed, your people have been destroyed, so pray to Allah for them." He responded, "If they repent, we will count their number." This is in reference to the verse, {The Day the heaven will bring forth a visible smoke, covering the people, this is a painful torment} [Ad-Dukhan 11]. Abdullah asked, "Will the punishment of the Hereafter be revealed?" Then, Abdullah said, "Indeed, the smoke has passed."
