عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who fasts."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ السَّائِمَةُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage and mentioned its significance.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

A similar report was narrated from 'Aishah from the Messenger of Allah. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4929)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَلْفَ مَثَلٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The example of my Ummah (community) is like that of four people." And he mentioned the Hadith.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ أَرْبَعَةٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَحْرُسُهُ أَصْحَابُهُ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every intoxicant is prohibited."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ۔»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned its meaning without attributing it to anyone.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَلَمْيُسْنِدْهُ

[AI] The meaning of the passage is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a whip, so he mentioned its significance."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ شَمِطَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ it was said, "Do not make faces" and he mentioned the rest of the hadith.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُقَبِّحُوا الْوُجُوهَ» وَذَكَرَ بَاقِي الْحَدِيثِ

[AI] From the Prophet of Allah ﷺ , it was said, "Jacob had a foster brother." So he mentioned the hadeeth in a similar manner.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كَانَ لِيَعْقُوبَ أَخٌ مُؤَاخِيًا» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Every intoxicant is unlawful.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3387)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ»

«بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَرِيَّةً إِلَى الْحُرُقَاتِ» الْحَدِيثَ
