2. Chapter of Alif (Male)
[Machine] "I saw some of the companions of the messenger of Allah ﷺ trading in their marketplaces. Ibn 'Umar, Zaid ibn Arqam, Usama ibn Zaid, and Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib were mentioned."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was given a garment by the people of Kibt, so I gave it to my wife to wear. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Why don't you wear the garment?" I replied, "I gave it to my wife to wear." He said, "Tell her not to place any straps underneath it, for I fear it may describe her bones."
[Machine] When the Prophet ﷺ fell ill, I descended and the people also descended to Medina. So, I entered upon him and he was quiet, not speaking. He raised his hands to the sky and poured blessings upon me. I knew then that he was making du'a (supplication) for me.
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ said to Ja'far, "Your resemblance is in my resemblance, and you are from me, and you, O Ali, are from me and from my offspring."
[Machine] "That the Prophet, ﷺ , when he came to a congregation, he prayed Maghrib and Isha with it."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a military expedition to Al-Hurqu'at."
[Machine] He informed him (the Prophet), saying, "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'Indeed, I have divorced and remembered the hadith.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, this epidemic is a form of punishment." And he mentioned the hadith.
[Machine] The passage translates to: "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: 'Indeed, this pandemic is a punishment.' Then he mentioned the hadith."
[Machine] He mentioned, he said, "I rode with the Prophet ﷺ on a donkey, on a saddle, on a cushion." Then he mentioned the hadith in its entirety.
[Machine] "He (referring to the Prophet Muhammad) went with the Prophet ﷺ on the evening of Arafah and stopped at al-Madiq, where he tied his riding animal. He fulfilled his needs and then returned. He performed ablution, and Usama poured water for him. Usama said, 'O Messenger of Allah, should I perform prayer?' He replied, 'The one performing prayer is in front of you.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered the Kaaba, and I said, "What's wrong, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Gabriel ﷺ promised to come to me but he hasn't come for three days." Then a dog came in, and Osama put his hand on his head and he became silent. The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What's wrong, O Osama?" I said, "There was a dog." So the Prophet ﷺ ordered it to be killed. Then Gabriel came to him and said, "What's wrong with you? Why didn't you come to me, and whenever you promised me, you never broke it?" He said, "We do not enter a house with a dog or pictures in it."
[Machine] "He informed him, saying: The Messenger of Allah said, 'Behold, there is a dedicated place in Paradise, which by the Lord of the Kaaba, is full of sparkling light, pleasant fragrance, relentless flowing river, and a beautiful and fair wife in a garden and inkwell in eternal residence.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions used to forgive the polytheists and the people of the Book, as commanded by Allah. They used to endure harm, as Allah says, "And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse." The Prophet ﷺ used to interpret forgiveness in accordance with the command of Allah, until Allah gave them permission. So when the Prophet ﷺ fought the Battle of Badr, Allah killed those polytheists from the nobles of Quraish who were killed, and Ibn Ubayy said, "This is a matter that has been addressed to him, so give the pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on Islam and embrace Islam."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to visit 'Abd Allah b. Ubayy during his illness of which he died. When he entered upon him, he realised death on him. He said: I used to forbid you from the love of Jews. He ('Abd Allah) said: As'ad b. Zurarah hated them. So what (the benefited) ? When he died, his son came and said: Prophet of Allah, 'Abd Allah b. Ubayy has died, give me your shirt, so that I shroud him in it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took off his shirt and gave it to him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3094)
The Prophet ﷺ as saying: A Muslim may not inherit from an infidel nor an infidel from a Muslim. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2909)
[Machine] "I once spearheaded a man while he was saying there is no god but Allah. The Prophet ﷺ asked Osama, 'How will it be for you on the Day of Judgment, with no god but Allah?' He repeated this several times until I wished I had not embraced Islam before that moment."
[Machine] "I granted permission to some of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to enter (a place). And when they entered, they found a man covering his head with a cloth made of camel fur. So he removed the cloth from his head and said, 'May Allah curse the Jews, for they took the graves of their Prophets as places of worship.'"
