[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that most of its inhabitants were the poor, and I saw that the people of hard work were held back from entering, except for those who were from the people of hell, as they were ordered to be taken to the fire."  

الطبراني:٤٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قُمْتُ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْمَسَاكِينَ وَرَأَيْتُ أَصْحَابَ الْجَدِّ مَحْبُوسِينَ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَإِنَّهُ أُمِرَ بِهِمْ إِلَى النَّارِ»

ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ اغْتِرَارِ الْمَرْءِ بِمَا أُوتِيَ فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالنِّعَمِ

ibnhibban:692 – ʿImrān b. Mūsá b. Mujāshiʿ > ʿUbaydullāh b. Muʿādh b. Muʿādh > Muʿtamir b. Sulaymān al-Taymī from my father > Abū ʿUthmān al-Nahdī > Usāmah b. Zayd b. Ḥārithah > Ḥaddath

I stood at the door of Paradise and I found that the overwhelming majority of those who entered therein was that of poor persons and the wealthy persons were detained to get into that. The denizens of Hell were commanded to get into Hell, and I stood upon the door of Fire and the majority amongst them who entered there was that of women. (Using translation from Muslim 2736)   

ابن حبّان:٦٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «قُمْتُ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا عَامَّةُ مَنْ دَخَلَهَا الْمَسَاكِينُ وَإِذَا أَصْحَابُ الْجَدِّ مَحْبُوسُونَ وَأَصْحَابُ النَّارِ قَدْ أُمِرَ بِهِمْ إِلَى النَّارِ وَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى النَّارِ فَإِذَا عَامَّةُ مَنْ دَخَلَهَا النِّسَاءُ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I looked at Paradise and found that most of its inhabitants are the poor. And I looked at Hellfire and found that most of its inhabitants are women. And I found that the people of intelligence are imprisoned, and that the disbelievers have been commanded to go to Hellfire."  

ابن حبّان:٧٤٥٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ غُلَامُ طَالُوتَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ بِالْبَصْرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَظَرْتُ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِهَا الْمَسَاكِينُ وَنَظَرْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَإِذَا أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءُ وَإِذَا أَهْلُ الْجَدِّ مَحْبُوسُونَ وَإِذَا الْكُفَّارُ قَدْ أُمِرَ بِهِمْ إِلَى النَّارِ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I looked at Paradise and found that its majority consists of the poor. And I looked at Hellfire and found that its majority consists of women. And I looked at the dwellers of Hell and found that they are mostly elderly people. And the disbelievers have been ordered to Hell."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ
