٢۔ بَابُ الْأَلِفِ
2.36.1 Subsection
٢۔٣٦۔١ أَقْرَمُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ
[Machine] "I used to herd sheep in the valley of Namirah. One day, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ descend there. He established the prayer and prayed with his companions, and I prayed with them as if I could see the sweat on the Prophet's ﷺ forehead while he was in prostration."
كُنْتُ أَرْعَى غَنَمًا بِالْقَاعِ مِنْ نَمِرَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَزَلَهَا «فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُمْ كَأَنِّي أَرَى عَفْرَةَ مَا تَحْتَ مَنْكِبَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ»
[Machine] About Uruwah, in the designation of anyone from the Quraysh who witnessed the Battle of Badr, then from the Banu Makhzum, the son of Nuqatah, the son of Murrah, the son of Ka'b, Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam. And the name of Abi Al-Arqam is Abdul Manaf, and he is nicknamed Abu Khindif bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Makhzum.
عَنْ عُرْوَةَ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومِ بْنِ نُقْطَةَ بْنِ مُرَّةَ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْأَرْقَمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَرْقَمِ وَاسْمُ أَبِي الْأَرْقَمِ عَبْدُ مَنَافٍ وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا خِنْدِفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَخْزُومٍ
[Machine] "Regarding the identification of those who witnessed the Battle of Badr, it is known that Al-Arqam ibn Abi Al-Arqam was among them."
عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا الْأَرْقَمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَرْقَمِ
[Machine] About his grandfather Al-Arqam, who was from the people of Badr, and he was the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ guest at his house near As-Safa until forty Muslim men gathered, and the last among them to embrace Islam was Umar ibn Al-Khattab. When they reached forty, they went out to meet the polytheists, and I came to bid farewell to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him that I wanted to go to Jerusalem. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked me, "Why do you want to go there? Is it for trade?" I replied, "No, I want to pray there." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The prayer here is better than a thousand prayers there."
عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْأَرْقَمِ وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آوَى فِي دَارِهِ عِنْدَ الصَّفَا حَتَّى تَكَامَلُوا أَرْبَعِينَ رَجُلًا مُسْلِمِينَ وَكَانَ آخِرُهُمِ إِسْلَامًا عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَلَمَّا كَانُوا أَرْبَعِينَ خَرَجُوا إِلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ جِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لِأُوَدِّعَهُ وَأَرَدْتُ الْخُرُوجَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ؟» قُلْتُ أُرِيدُ بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ قَالَ «وَمَا يُخْرِجُكُ إِلَيْهِ أَفِي تِجَارَةٍ؟» قُلْتُ لَا وَلَكِنِّي أُصَلِّي فِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَاةٌ هَهُنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ ثَمَّ»
[Machine] From his father, Al-Arqam, who was one of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ , he said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, whoever pushes people on the Day of Friday and causes discord among them, it is like him putting a piece of burning wood in the fire."
عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْأَرْقَمِ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الَّذِي يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَهُمْ كَالْجَارِّ قُصْبَهُ فِي النَّارِ»
2.36.2 Subsection
٢۔٣٦۔٢ الْأَرْقَمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَرْقَمِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ بَدْرِيٌّ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of Badr, "Take out whatever you have from the spoils of war that was with you."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ «ضَعُوا مَا كَانَ مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْفَالِ»
[Machine] "Asslamu, the servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , died after the killing of Uthman in the year thirty-five."
«مَاتَ أَسْلَمُ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ قَتْلِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ سَنَةَ خَمْسٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ»
