2. Chapter of Alif (Male)
٢۔ بَابُ الْأَلِفِ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ when he was dying and had Aisha and Hafsah with him, Ali entered. When the Prophet saw him, he lifted his head and said, "Come close to me." So Ali leaned on him and remained by his side until he passed away. When he passed away, Ali stood up and closed the door. Then Abbas came with the sons of Abdul Muttalib and they stood at the door. Ali said, "By my father, you are a good and noble person, both in life and after death, and there is a pleasant fragrance that has not been found before." Ali said, "Bring Fadl bin Abbas in." The Ansar said, "We swear by Allah, our share from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ." So they brought in one of them named Aws bin Khawli who was holding a jug in one hand. They heard a voice in the house saying, "Do not undress the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and wash him as he is in his garment." So Ali washed him, and he put his hand under the garment while Fadl held the cloth for him, and the Ansari conveyed the water. On the hand of Ali was a piece of cloth, and he put his hand
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا ثَقُلَ وَعِنْدَهُ عَائِشَةُ وَحَفْصَةُ إِذْ دَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «ادْنُ مِنِّي» فَاسْتَنَدَ إِلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ ﷺ فَلَمَّا قَضَى قَامَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ وَأَغْلَقَ الْبَابَ فَجَاءَ الْعَبَّاسُ ؓ وَمَعَهُ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَقَامُوا عَلَى الْبَابِ فَجَعَلَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ يَقُولُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ طَيِّبًا حَيًّا وَطَيِّبًا مَيِّتًا وَسَطَعَتْ رِيحٌ طَيِّبَةٌ لَمْ يَجِدُوا مِثْلَهَا قَطُّ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ أَدْخِلُوا عَلَيَّ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ نَشَدْنَاكُمْ بِاللهِ فِي نَصِيبِنَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَدْخَلُوا رَجُلًا مِنْهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَوْسُ بْنُ خَوْلِيٍّ يَحْمِلُ جَرَّةً بِإِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ فَسَمِعُوا صَوْتًا فِي الْبَيْتِ لَا تُجَرِّدُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَاغْسِلُوهُ كَمَا هُوَ فِي قَمِيصِهِ فَغَسَّلَهُ عَلِيٌّ ؓ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ تَحْتَ الْقَمِيصِ وَالْفَضْلُ يُمْسِكُ الثَّوْبَ عَنْهُ وَالْأَنْصَارِيُّ يَنْقُلُ الْمَاءَ وَعَلَى يَدِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ خِرْقَةٌ وَيُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ
أَوْسُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ
[Machine] And it is said that Sulaim is the Abu Kabshah, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, from the tribe of Daws, who was mentioned by Muhammad ibn Ishaq among those who witnessed the Battle of Badr.
وَيُقَالُ سُلَيْمُ أَبُو كَبْشَةَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ دَوْسٍ ذَكَرَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ فِيمَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا
أَوْسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَصْرَمَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَقَبِيٌّ
[Machine] About Ibn Shihab, in the naming of those who witnessed the Battle of the Aqaba from the Ansar, then from the Bani Najjar, Aus bin Yazid bin Asram.
عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ أَوْسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَصْرَمَ

٢۔٢٨۔٣ أَوْسُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَقَبِيٌّ «وَهُوَ أَخُو حَسَّانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، وَهُوَ أَبُو شَدَّادِ بْنُ أَوْسٍ»
[Machine] About Ibn Shihab's naming of those who witnessed the incident of Al-Aqabah from the Ansar, then from the Bani Najjar, Aws bin Thabit.
عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ أَوْسُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ
[Machine] "Regarding the attribution of the name of the person who was killed by soldiers from Quraysh and then from the tribe of Banu Abd Shams ibn Abd Manaf, it is Urwah who reported that it was Aban ibn Sa'id ibn Al-Aas."
عَنْ عُرْوَةَ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ قُتِلَ بِأَجْنَادِينَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ شَمْسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ أَبَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ
