2. Chapter of Alif (Male)
[Machine] It is said that Haml ibn Malik had two wives, one of them was Hudhayyah and the other was 'Amirayah. Hudhayyah struck the stomach of 'Amirayah with a thin stick or a whip, causing her to miscarry a dead fetus. Hudhayyah then went to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with her brother, 'Imran ibn 'Uwaymir, and they told him the story. The Prophet said, "Leave it," and 'Imran said, "O Prophet of Allah, should the one who has not eaten, drunk, or shouted be blamed? She committed such an act." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Leave the wrath of the Bedouins to me, in return there will be a slave or a servant, or five hundred sheep, or a horse, or twenty camels." 'Imran said, "O Prophet of Allah, she has two sons who are the leaders of the community and it is more appropriate for them to be compensated by their mother." The Prophet ﷺ said, "You have more right to make a decision regarding your sister than her children do." 'Imran said, "I have nothing to decide on." The Prophet said, "O Haml ibn Malik, who was at that time responsible for such charity, being the husband of both wives and the father of the killed fetus, take from the charity under your supervision twenty and one hundred sheep." And so he did.
[Machine] I was accompanying the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when our camel stumbled, so I said, "May the devil be cursed!" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not say, 'May the devil be cursed,' for he becomes proud until he becomes as great as a house, and he says with pride, 'By my power.' Instead, say, 'In the name of Allah,' for he will become as small as a fly."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Exercise patience and you will gain more forbearance."
[Machine] The angels descended on the day of Badr, adorned with robes, and on that day Al-Zubayr wore a yellow turban.
The Prophet ﷺ said: He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4811)
[Machine] "He prayed the two Rak'ahs of Fajr with the Prophet ﷺ, then he prayed close to him and prayed two light Rak'ahs. I heard him saying, 'O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, and of Muhammad, I seek refuge in You from the Fire.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the owner of the plot of land that had increased in the Mosque of Madinah, and its owner was a man from the Ansar: The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "You have a house in Paradise because of it." So Uthman came and said to him, "You have ten thousand (coins) for it, so I bought it from him." Then Uthman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, buy from me the plot of land that I bought from the Ansari, so he bought it from him for a house in Paradise." Uthman said, "I bought it for ten thousand dirhams." So the Prophet ﷺ put a brick, then he called Abu Bakr and placed a brick, then he called Umar and placed a brick, then Uthman came and placed a brick. Then he said to the people, "Place (bricks)." So they placed (bricks).
