My nephew, leave him for he defended Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 2487a)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and so and so said?

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ فُلَانٌ؟

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he mentioned it in a similar way.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ

Abdullah ibn AbuBakr reported that he heard Urwah say: I entered upon Marwan ibn al-Hakam. We mentioned things that render the ablution void. Marwan said: Does it become void by touching the penis? Urwah replied: This I do not know. Marwan said: Busrah daughter of Safwan reported to me that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: He who touches his penis should perform ablution. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 181)

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَتَوَضَّأُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَسِّ الذَّكَرِ»

[AI] When the Messenger of Allah commanded the use of bells, he mentioned something similar.

لَمَّا أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالنَّاقُوسِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"I asked Anas bin Malik: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ pray in sandals?' He said: 'Yes.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 775)

سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about Bit'i, whereupon he said: Every drink that causes intoxication is forbidden. (Using translation from Muslim 2001a)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْبِتْعِ قَالَ «كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ حَرَامٌ»

(Another chain) from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a similar report. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 568)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4960)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Only a wrongdoer hoards." (It was said) twice.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ» مَرَّتَيْنِ

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he mentioned something similar.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] "About Ayyub, he mentioned something along with us."

عَنْ أَيُّوبَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] Regarding the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited the house at night.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ زَارَ الْبَيْتَ لَيْلًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a night off and mentioned its significance.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتَمَ لَيْلَةً فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

Hafsa (Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ kissed (his wives) while fasting. (Using translation from Muslim 1107a)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ kissed her while he was fasting.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَبَّلَهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ

[AI] About Aisha, he mentioned his intention.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

Hafsa (Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ kissed (his wives) while fasting. (Using translation from Muslim 1107a)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ

"Geckos are vermin." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2886)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَزَغُ فُوَيْسِقٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss while he was fasting.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ

[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying something similar to that.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[AI] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eat the meat of sacrificial animals and store some."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُوا لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ وَادَّخِرُوا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ

[AI] His mother came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "So he mentioned its meaning with us."

أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The translation of the passage is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Is it difficult for any of you to recite and comprehend its meaning?'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The punishment of my ummah (nation) is in this world."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «عَذَابُ أُمَّتِي فِي دُنْيَاهَا»

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Prayer is answered as long as the caller does not rush."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الدُّعَاءُ مُسْتَجَابٌ مَا بَيْنَ النِّدَاءِ»

Messenger of Allah, do not say Amin before me. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 937)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسْبِقْنِي بِآمِينَ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Witr (odd number of units for prayer) is a right (obligation)." So he mentioned it in this way and they left it.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِعدي تركوه

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

I heard Allah's Apostle ﷺ as saying. Every servant would be raised (in the same very state) in which he dies. (Using translation from Muslim 2878a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يُبْعَثُ كُلُّ عَبْدٍ عَلَى مَا مَاتَ»

[AI] The translation of the given Arabic sentence is: "That the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, fasted and then broke his fast."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ»

The bell is the musical instrument of the Satan. (Using translation from Muslim 2114)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْجَرَسُ مِزْمَارُ الشَّيْطَانِ»

“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)

قُلْتُ أَيُؤْكَلُ الضَّبُعُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قُلْتُ أَصَيْدٌ هِيَ؟ قَالَ أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

The same as No. 290. from the Prophet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1199b)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ

Abu Huraira reported a hadith like this through another chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2653a)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُصحيح

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He grants refuge to the weakest among my ummah."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يُجِيرُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي أَدْنَاهُمْ»

The same as No. 290. from the Prophet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1199b)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ

"Whoever owns a related Mahram, then he is free." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1365)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا رَحِمٍ مُحَرَّمٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ» صحيح
