"We used to hope that an intelligent Bedouin would show up to question the Prophet while we were with him. So one while we were with him, a Bedouin came, kneeling in front of the Prophet, and he said: 'O Muhammad, your messenger came to us and told us that you say that Allah sent you.' So the Prophet say: 'Yes.' He said, 'So, (swear) by the One who raised the heaves, and spread out the earth, and erected the mountains; has Allah sent you?' The Prophet said, 'Yes.' He said: 'Your messenger told us that you say that there are five prayers required from us in a day and a night.' The Prophet said, 'Yes.' He said, 'By the One Who sent you, has Allah ordered that you you?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Your messenger told us that you say that we are required to fast for a month out of the year.' He said, 'He told the truth.' He said, 'By the One Who sent you, has Allah ordered that you?' The Prophet said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Your messenger told us that Zakat is required from our wealth.' The Prophet said, 'He told the truth.' He said, 'By the One Who sent you, has Allah ordered you that?' The Prophet said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Your messenger told us that you say that we are required to perform Hajj to Allah's House if able to undertake the journey.' The Prophet said, 'Yes.' He said, 'By the One Who sent you, has Allah Commanded you that?' (The Prophet said:) 'Yes.' So he said: 'By the One Who sent you with the Truth, I will not leave any of them, nor surpass them.' Then he got up quickly (leaving). The Prophet said: 'If the Bedouin told the truth, then he will enter Paradise.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 619)

[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Peace be upon you, O boy from the sons of Abdul-Muttalib." The Prophet replied, "And upon you." The man said, "I am a man from your distant relatives, from the family of Sa'd bin Bakr. I am a messenger from my people to you, and I come on behalf of them. I have a strong request and a serious plea to make to you." The Prophet said, "Go ahead, O brother of the sons of Sa'd." The man asked, "Who created you and who created those before you, and who is the Creator of those after you?" The Prophet replied, "Allah." The man continued, "I ask you, by this, have you been sent as a Messenger?" The Prophet said, "Yes." The man further asked, "Who created the seven heavens and the seven earths and made provision flow between them?" The Prophet again answered, "Allah." The man asked again, "I ask you, by this, have you been sent as a Messenger?" The Prophet affirmed, "Yes." The man continued, "We have found in your book and your messengers have commanded us to pray five prayers during the day and the night according to their specified times. I ask you, by this, is this your command?" The Prophet replied, "Yes." The man added, "We have found in your book and your messengers have commanded us to take a portion of our wealth and give it back to our poor. I ask you, by this, is this your command?" The Prophet said, "Yes." Then the man said, "As for the fifth prayer, I am not asking about it nor do I have any concern about it." Then the man said, "By the One who has sent you with the truth, I will do these actions, and whoever from my people obeys me, we will also do them." Then the man left, and the Prophet ﷺ laughed until his molars were visible, then he said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if he is truthful, he will enter Paradise."

[Machine] The sons of Saad son of Bakr sent Dhimam son of Tha'labah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He came to him while he was sitting with his companions. Dhimam was a tall man with thick hair and a widows' peak. He stood in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Which one of you is the son of Abdul-Muttalib?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "I am the son of Abdul-Muttalib." Dhimam asked, "Are you Muhammad?" He replied, "Yes." Dhimam said, "O son of Abdul-Muttalib, I have a question for you, and I am very serious about it, so I hope that it does not cause any harm to me. " The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ask me whatever you want, freely." Dhimam asked, "I solemnly ask you, by Allah, your God, the God of those before you, and the God of those who will come after you, did Allah send you to us as a Messenger?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "O Allah, yes." Dhimam asked again, "I solemnly ask you, by Allah, your God, the God of those before you, and the God of those who will come after you, did Allah command you that we should worship Him alone, without associating anything with Him, and to abandon the idols which our forefathers used to worship besides Him?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "O Allah, yes." Dhimam asked once more, "I solemnly ask you, by Allah, your God, the God of those before you, and the God of those who will come after you, did Allah command you that we should offer the five daily prayers?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "O Allah, yes." Dhimam continued to ask about the obligations of Islam, one by one, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied "O Allah, yes" to each one. When Dhimam finished, he said, "I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. I will fulfill these obligations and avoid what you have forbidden. I will not add anything or take away anything." Then he left on his camel. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If Dhimam with the two patches of skin on his head was sincere, he will enter Paradise." Dhimam went back to his people and gathered them. The first thing he said was, "How evil are Lat and Uzza!" They said, "What is wrong with you, Dhimam? Fear insanity and leprosy." He replied, "Woe to you! They, by Allah, do not harm or benefit. Allah has sent a Messenger to us and revealed a book upon him to save us from what we used to be in. And I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. I have come to you with what he has commanded and forbade." Then the narrator commented, "By Allah, no day or night passed ever since then that there was not a man or a woman who embraced Islam." Ibn Abbas said, "We have never heard of any delegation that was more honorable than Dhimam bin Tha'labah."

The Messenger of Allah said: "Performing ablution properly is half of faith, saying Al-Hamdu Lillah fills the Scale (of good deeds), saying Subhan-Allah and Allahu Akbar fills the heavens and the earth, prayer is light, Zakat is proof, patience is brightness and the Qur'an is proof for you or against you. Every person goes out in the morning to sell his soul, so he either frees it or destroys it.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 280)

Allah is the Greatest, it fills what is between the heavens and the earth. Wudu' is half of faith and fasting is half of patience."

[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ was commanded to perform wudu (ablution) for every prayer, whether in a state of purity or impurity, and when this became burdensome for him, he was commanded to use the siwak (toothstick) for every prayer. Ibn Umar believed that it gave him strength, so he would not leave performing wudu for every prayer.

Umar said to him, "I saw you do something you didn't used to do?" He replied, "I deliberately did it, O Umar." Abu Muhammad said, "The action of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ indicates that the meaning of Allah's saying, 'When you rise to prayer, wash your faces' (Surah Al-Maidah 5:6) applies to every person who is impure and this includes the statement of the Prophet ﷺ , 'There is no ablution except from impurity.'
