1. Book of Purification
[Machine] "When a woman becomes pure from her menstrual cycle, she should follow her garment that touches her skin, wash what has come in contact with harm, and then she can pray in it."
One of us would have a shirt in which she would menstruate and in it she became sexually defiled. Then if she ever saw any drop of blood in it, she would rub it off by applying her saliva. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 364)
[Machine] From Umm Salamah, she said, "If one of you starts her menstrual flow with a drop of blood, then when one of you experiences that, let her use a piece of cloth."
[Machine] "If a woman washes off the blood, yet it does not go away, then she should change it with yellow dock root or saffron."
[Machine] "Does a woman have blood on her garment, so should I wash it and not cut it?" She said, "Water is purifying."
"I heard Aisha (ra) say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abii Al-Qbim, and I were beneath a single blanket, and I was menstruating. If something got on him from me, he would wash whatever had got on him and he did not wash anywhere else, and he prayed in it then came back to me.And if anything got on him from me,he would do exactly the same and he did not wash anywhere else."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 773)
[Machine] About Ibrahim, he said: "If a woman wears clothing while she is menstruating, and blood touches it, she should wash it. Otherwise, it is not necessary for her to wash it. And if she sweats in it, it is permissible for her to sprinkle water on it."
[Machine] The menstruating woman prays in the same clothes she menstruates in, except if any blood specifically touches the clothes, then she washes the spot where the blood is.
[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about menstrual blood that stains clothes. He said, "Scrape it off and then rinse it with water."
[Machine] "The menstruating woman does not wash her garment if there is no blood on it."
[Machine] I heard a woman asking the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about her garment after becoming clean from her menstrual cycle, asking what should she do with it. He said, "If you see any blood on it, then scrub it, then purify it with water, and then pour water over the rest of it. Then pray in it."
I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the blood of menstruation on the clothe. He said: Erase it off with a piece of wood and then wash it away with water and the leaves of the lote-tree. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 363)
[Machine] The woman said, "Does her menstrual blood stain her dress?" She said, "Wash it with water." She said, "But won't its trace remain?" She said, "Indeed, water is purifying."
[Machine] Aisha used to see blood from menstruation on her garment, so she would open it with a stone or a stick or a horn, and then wash it.
