1. Book of Purification
[Machine] The menstruating woman and the person in a state of ritual impurity (janabah) heard that one should perform ablution (ghusl) and prostrate during the sujood. However, the menstruating woman does not need to perform the prayer (salaah) because she cannot pray.
[Machine] "We used to have our periods in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he did not command any of us to refrain from offering prayers."
[Machine] "A woman asked Aisha if one of us should perform prayers during her menstruation. Aisha replied, 'Are you from the Haruriyyah sect? One of us used to have menstruation during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and she was not ordered to make up the missed prayers.'"
[Machine] It's as if Hammad parted with the story of Ayyub and brought forth this.
[Machine] I heard the menstruating woman saying, "Do not prostrate."
[Machine] Regarding women on their periods and experiencing postnatal bleeding, do they have to make up for the missed prayers after they become clean? He said: He is the husband of the Prophet ﷺ. If they were to do so, our women would have been commanded to do the same.
[Machine] Do I have to make up for the prayers that I missed during my menstruation when I become pure again? Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, asked, "Are you a Hururiyyah?" We used to be with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , one of us would menstruate and then become pure, and he would not order us to make up for the missed prayers.
[Machine] I asked Fatimah, the daughter of Ali, "Do you make up the prayers missed during your menstrual period?" She replied, "No."
[Machine] A woman asked Aisha if a woman during her period has to pray. Aisha replied, "Evidently, the wives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ menstruated, and he instructed them to make up for it." Abdullah said, which means that they do not have to fulfill the prayer.
