1. Book of Purification

١۔ كِتَابٌ الطَّهَارَةِ

1.85 [Machine] Who said, 'She can perform ablution from Dhuhr to Dhuhr, have sexual intercourse, and fast'?

١۔٨٥ بَابُ مَنْ قَالَ تَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ، وَتُجَامِعُ وَتَصُومُ

[Machine] "She sits and recites her days, and she washes herself from noon till noon, and she seeks forgiveness in a gown and her husband comes to her, and she fasts." So I said, "Who is this?" He took pebbles."  

الدارمي:٨٣٥أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سُمَيٍّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ فَقَالَ

«تَجْلِسُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا وَتَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ وَتَسْتَذْفِرُ بِثَوْبٍ وَيَأْتِيهَا زَوْجُهَا وَتَصُومُ» فَقُلْتُ عَمَّنْ هَذَا؟ «فَأَخَذَ الْحَصَا»  

darimi:836Abū al-Mughīrah > al-Awzāʿī > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib

[Machine] "She washes from noon to noon and performs ablution for every prayer. If the blood overcomes her, she seeks forgiveness." And Al-Hasan used to say that.  

الدارمي:٨٣٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ

«تَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ ظُهْرٍ إِلَى ظُهْرٍ وَتَتَوَضَّأُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ فَإِنْ غَلَبَهَا الدَّمُ اسْتَثْفَرَتْ» وَكَانَ الْحَسَنُ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ  

darimi:837Yazīd b. Hārūn > Yaḥyá > Sumay a freed slave of Abū Bakr b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. al-Ḥārith b. Hishām > al-Qaʿqāʿ b. Ḥakīm And Zayd b. Aslam Arsalāh > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib Yasʾaluh Kayf Taghtasil al-Mustaḥāḍah

[Machine] Sa'id (a boy's name) "she washes herself from noon until the same time tomorrow for the Dhuhr prayer. If menstruation overcomes her, she seeks forgiveness and performs ablution for every prayer and prays."  

الدارمي:٨٣٧أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى أَنَّ سُمَيًّا مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ الْقَعْقَاعَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ وَزَيْدَ بْنَ أَسْلَمَ أَرْسَلَاهُ إِلَى سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَسْأَلُهُ كَيْفَ تَغْتَسِلُ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ فَقَالَ

سَعِيدٌ «تَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ إِلَى مِثْلِهَا مِنَ الْغَدِ لِصَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ فَإِنْ غَلَبَهَا الدَّمُ اسْتَثْفَرَتْ وَتَوَضَّأَتْ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ وَصَلَّتْ»

[Machine] Regarding menstruating women, it is stated by Al-Hasan that "She should perform ablution (cleaning) from the time of Dhuhr prayer until the Dhuhr prayer of the next day."  

الدارمي:٨٣٨حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُعْتَمِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ «تَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ مِنَ الْغَدِ»  

darimi:839Ḥajjāj b. Minhāl > Ḥammād > Ḥumayd > al-Ḥasan

[Machine] "The woman experiencing menstruation abstains from prayer during her menstrual days of the month, then she performs ghusl (major ablution) from noon to noon. She also performs wudu (ablution) before every prayer and she fasts, prays, and her husband comes to her."  

الدارمي:٨٣٩حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

«الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ تَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ أَيَّامَ حَيْضِهَا مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ وَتَوَضَّأُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ وَتَصُومُ وَتُصَلِّي وَيَأْتِيهَا زَوْجُهَا»

[Machine] Regarding Al-Hasan and Ata' similar to that.  

الدارمي:٨٤٠حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَعَطَاءٍ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[Machine] "In the istihada, you wash once every day."  

الدارمي:٨٤١أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ قَمِيرَ امْرَأَةِ مَسْرُوقٍ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

فِي «الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ تَغْتَسِلُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ مَرَّةً»  

darimi:842Marwān > Bukayr b. Maʿrūf > Muqātil b. Ḥayyān > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] He used to say that a woman with istihaadah (irregular bleeding) should perform ghusl from one prayer to another. Marwan said, and this is the statement of Al-Awzaa'i.  

الدارمي:٨٤٢أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ تَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ ظُهْرٍ إِلَى ظُهْرٍ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ  

darimi:843Zakariyyā b. ʿAdī > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAmr > ʿAbd al-Karīm > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib

[Machine] "The woman experiencing istihadah (continuous bleeding outside the regular menstrual cycle) should perform ablution every day before the first prayer."  

الدارمي:٨٤٣حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ

«الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ تَغْتَسِلُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ عِنْدَ صَلَاةِ الْأُولَى»
