[Machine] "What has brought you here?" I said, "Seeking knowledge." He said, "Shall I not give you good news?" And he narrated the hadith to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Verily, the angels lower their wings in satisfaction for the seeker of knowledge, for what he seeks." And he mentioned the hadith.
[Machine] "I visited during the Caliphate of Uthman ibn Affan, and I was only motivated to visit by the meeting with Ubayy ibn Ka'b and the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . So, I met Safwan ibn Assal and said to him, 'Did you see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?' He replied, 'Yes, and I participated with him in twelve battles.'"
[Machine] "We used to be with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he would order us not to remove our underwear for three days except for sexual impurity. However, it could be removed for defecation, urine, and sleep. Then, a Bedouin with a loud voice came and said, 'O Muhammad, a man loves his people, but he does not join them.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A person will be with those whom he loves.'"
"A Jew said to his companion: 'Let us go to this Prophet.' His companion said to him: 'Do not say Prophet; if he hears you, he will become big-headed.' So they came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and asked him about nine clear signs. He said to them: 'Do not associate anything with Allah, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not kill any soul whom Allah has forbidden you to kill, except by right, do not speak falsely about an innocent man before a ruler, do not engage in magic, do not consume Riba (usury), do not slander chaste women, and do not flee on the day of the march (to battle). And for you Jews especially, do not break the Sabbath.' They kissed his hands and feet and said: 'We bear witness that you are a Prophet.' He said: 'What is keeping you from following me?' They said: 'Dawud prayed that there would always be a Prophet among his descendants, and we are afraid that if we follow you, the Jews will kill us.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4078)

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whenever someone leaves their home in search of knowledge, the angels lower their wings in approval of what they are doing." He was asked about wiping over the socks. He replied, "Yes, I was amongst the army that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent, and he commanded us to wipe over our socks three times, for cleanliness, during travel for up to three days and nights, and during staying in a place for one day and one night. We do not take them off except when in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah)." He also said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'There is a gate open for repentance in the west, the distance of a journey of seventy years, which will not be closed until the sun rises from the west.'"

[Machine] We sent the messenger of Allah, ﷺ , on an expedition. He said, "March in the name of Allah, in the cause of Allah, to fight against the enemies of Allah. Do not be excessive, do not kill children, and for the traveler, there are three days and nights in which he wipes over his feet when he enters them in a state of purity. And for the resident, there is a day and a night."
“I came to Safwan bin ʿAssal Al Muradi to ask him about wiping over the Khuff, so he said: ‘What has brought you, O Zirr?’ So I said: ‘The desire for knowledge.’ So he said: ‘Indeed, the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge, out of pleasure with what he is seeking.’ So I said: ‘Indeed there is some doubt in my chest concerning wiping over the Khuff after defecation and urination, and you were a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, so I came to you to ask you: Have you heard him ﷺ mention anything concerning that?’ He said: ‘Yes, he ﷺ used to order us, that when we were travelers’ - or - ‘in travel, to not remove our Khuff for three days and nights except, from sexual impurity, but not from defecation, urination, and sleep.’” He said: “Have you heard him ﷺ mention anything concerning love?” He said: “Yes. We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey when a Bedouin with a loud voice called upon him (saying): ‘O Muhammad!’ So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ responded to him with a voice similar to him (saying): ‘Come.’ So we said to him: ‘Lower your voice for you are with the Prophet ﷺ, and you have been prohibited from this.’ He said: ‘By Allah, I will not lower (my voice).’ The Bedouin said: ‘A man loves a people but he is not with them (in terms of deeds)?’ He ﷺ said: ‘A man is with whomever he loves on the Day of Judgement.’” So he did not cease talking with us, until he mentioned a gate in the direction of the west with the width of seventy years journey - or a rider would travel its width - for forty or seventy years.” Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: “In the direction of Ash-Sham, Allah created it the Day He created the heavens and the earth, open - that is, for repentance. It shall not be locked until the sun rises through it.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3535)

And that is the saying of Allah: 'On the Day when some of the signs of your Lord will come, belief will not benefit a soul that did not believe before.' [Al-An'am 158].
We were in the company of Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Al-Hudaibiya in the state of Ihram and the pagans did not allow us to proceed (to the Kaʿba). I had thick hair and lice started falling on my face. The Prophet ﷺ passed by me and said, "Are the lice of your head troubling you?" I replied, Yes." (The sub-narrator added, "Then the following Divine Verse was revealed:-- "And if anyone of you is ill or has an ailment in his scalp, (necessitating shaving) must pay a ransom (Fida) of either fasting or feeding the poor, Or offering a sacrifice." (2.196) (Using translation from Bukhārī 4191)
[Machine] "That every strand of hair on my head has a lice, from its root to its tip. So the Prophet ﷺ commanded me to shave it off. And then the verse was revealed: 'Feed six poor people, each one of them with half a sa' of dates.'"

AbuThumamah al-Hannat said that Ka'b ibn Ujrah met him while he was going to the mosque; one of the two (companions) met his companion (on his way to the mosque) And he met crossing the fingers of my both hands. He prohibited me to do so, and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has said: If any of you performs ablution, and performs his ablution perfectly, and then goes out intending for the mosque, he should not cross the fingers of his hand because he is already in prayer. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 562)

I said: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, how do we send blessings upon you?” He said: ʿSay: O Allah, send Your salah (grace, honour and mercy) upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your salah upon the family of Ibrahim, You are indeed Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. And send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your blessings upon the family of Ibrahim, You are indeed Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 1396)

O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim, You are indeed Praiseworthy, Most Glorious).’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 904)
That he was with the Messenger of Allah in Ihram and he suffered an infestation of head lice. The Messenger of Allah commanded him to shave his head and told him: "Fast for three days, or fed six poor persons two Mudds earch, or sacrifice a sheep. Whichever one of these you do will be sufficient for you.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2851)

from Ka'b bin 'Ujrah who said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me while I was lighting a fire under a pot, and lice were falling on my face, or on my eye-brows. He said: 'Are your lice bothering you?'" [He said:] "I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then shave your head and offer a sacrifice, or fast three days, or feed six needy people.'" Ayyub said: "I do not know which of them he started with." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2974)
“I sat with Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah in the mosque and asked him about this Verse: ‘He must pay a compensation of either fasting (three days) or giving charity (feeding six poor persons) or offering sacrifice (one sheep).’ [2:196] Ka’b said: it was revealed concerning me. I had trouble with my head, so I was carried to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with lice crawling on my face. He said: ‘I did not think that you were suffering as much as I see. Do you have a sheep?’ I said: ‘No.’ Then this Verse was revealed: “He must pay a Fidyah (ransom) of either fasting (three days) or giving Sadaqah (charity – feeding six poor persons) or offering sacrifice (one sheep).” [2:196] He said: ‘Fasting is three days, charity is to be given to six poor persons, giving each one half of a Sa’ of food, and the sacrifice is a sheep.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3079)
[Machine] I heard Abdullah bin Maqil say, "I sat with Ka'b in this mosque, and he mentioned its significance."
[Machine] And he said, "Feed six poor people, and each poor person should be given half a saa' of food."
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said: A man should not perform ablution in his house and then come out only intending to pray, except that he will be in a state of prayer until he completes his prayer. And none of you should separate his fingers during the prayer."
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saw me and noticed lice falling from my face. He asked, "Do your lice bother you?" I replied, "Yes." He then commanded me to shave my head. We were in Hudaybiyyah at the time, and he did not inform them that they were performing the Umrah (lesser pilgrimage). They had expected to enter Mecca. Allah then revealed the Fidyah (compensation) for them, and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ commanded me to either feed a group of six needy people, or fast for three days, or sacrifice a sheep.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When you perform ablution and perfect your ablution, then you go to the mosque and you are in prayer, do not intertwine your fingers."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When you perform ablution and perfect your ablution, then you go purposely to the mosque, do not intertwine your fingers together." He said, "I see people doing that." He said, "Verily, you are in prayer."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ ordered Ka'b to shave his head because of lice. He said to him, "Fast for three days or feed six poor people, one mudd each."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me during the time of Hudaybiyah while I had a lot of hair. He said, 'Does it bother you if I cut your hair?' I replied, 'Of course not.' He said, 'Then shave it off, sacrifice a sheep, fast for three days, or give charity equivalent to three sa' of dates to six poor people.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned a trial and emphasized its seriousness. Then a man with disheveled hair passed by, and he said, "This is the truth today," and I quickly followed him or said, "I caught up with him," and I held his thumb and said, "Is this you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, that is Uthman ibn Affan."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ commanded him to fast for three days or feed six poor people or slaughter a sheep.
[Machine] I heard Ka'b ibn 'Ujrah say in this mosque, meaning the mosque of al-Kufah, that this verse was revealed: "We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for 'Umrah, and lice fell on my head, beard, eyebrows, and mustache. The Prophet ﷺ was informed of this and he sent for me and called me. When he saw me, he said, 'You have been afflicted with a trial and we do not feel it. So call for the cupper to treat you.' When he came, the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to shave my head. He asked me, 'Are you capable of performing the rituals?' I replied, 'No.' He said, 'Then fast for three days or feed six poor people, giving each one half a saa' of dates."

[Machine] He said, "Feed three handfuls of dates to six poor people."
[Machine] The son of Abu Adiy said, "Indeed, Kaab performed the Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and they mentioned three double handfuls of dates shared between six poor people."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ ordered Ka'b, when he shaved his head, to either slaughter a sheep, fast for three days, or feed a group of six poor individuals.
"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. He said; 'After me there will be rulers, whoever believes in their lies and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Cistern. Whoever does not believe their lies and does not help them in their wrongdoing, he is of me, and I am of hi, and he will come to me at the Cistern."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4207)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ stopped at Al-Hudaybiyah, and as he did, lice were crawling on his head. He asked, "Do your lice harm you?" I replied, "Yes." He then said, "Shave your head." In the Quran, Allah said, "And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head, then a ransom of fasting [three days], or charity or sacrifice [is required]" (2:196). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me to observe fasting for three days, or give charity, or make a sacrifice according to my capability.
[Machine] I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned a trial and drew it near. Then a man passed by wearing a turban, and he said, "This person today is upon guidance." He (the Prophet) said, "So I followed him until I held onto his two fingers, and I turned his face towards me and revealed his head, and I said, 'Is this you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'Yes, indeed, this is 'Uthman ibn 'Affan.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and found me with my fingers interlaced. He said to me, "O Ka'b, when you are inside the mosque, do not interlace your fingers, as it signifies that you are in prayer, and therefore, you should not wait for prayer."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him to shave his head and perform a sacrifice or fast for three days or feed a group of six poor people.
[Machine] "While I was sitting in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, leaning against its wall, there were seven individuals with me. Four of them were from our followers and three were from our Arab brethren. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us to lead the Dhuhr prayer. When he finished praying, he asked us why we were sitting there. We replied, 'O Messenger of Allah, we are waiting for the prayer.' He pondered for a moment, then raised his head and asked, 'Do you know what your Lord says?' We replied, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'Indeed, your Lord says that whoever offers the prayer at its prescribed time and observes its obligations without neglecting any part, they will have a covenant with me to enter Paradise. And whoever does not offer the prayer at its prescribed time and neglects it, they have no covenant with me. If I will, I will punish them, and if I will, I will forgive them.'"

[Machine] When the verse "Indeed, Allah confers blessings upon the Prophet and His angels" [33:56] was revealed, they said, "How should we send blessings upon you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Say: 'O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are full of praise and majesty. And send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are full of praise and majesty." He (Yazid) said, "And we say along with them." He said, "Yazid added something of his own, or he narrated something that Ka'b narrated from himself, but I do not know what it was."

9.3 [Machine] Al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba
[Machine] Amr ibn Wahb al-Thaqafi said: We were with al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba and he was asked: Did anyone other than Abu Bakr become the father of any of the people of this Ummah? He said: Yes, we were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and when he was suffering from magic, he struck the neck of my camel. I thought he needed something, so I accompanied him. We continued until we were away from the people, and he alighted from his animal and then went away until I could not see him. He stayed away for a long time, then he came back and asked: O Mughira, do you have any water? I said: Yes. So I went to a nearby well or a suspended waterskin at the end of the camel. I brought him water and he poured it on his hands, then he washed them well. He said: I doubt whether he said: Did he wipe his hands with dust or not? Then he washed his face. Then he turned his hands over and there was a narrow Syrian cloak on them, and it became tight. So he pulled his hands out from under it, and he washed his face and hands. He said: Does the hadith mention washing the face twice? He said: I do not know if it was like this or not. Then he wiped his face with his index fingers and wiped his turban and wiped his socks. Then we rode and caught up with the people, and the prayer had already been established. They were led by Abdullah ibn Awf, and he had already prayed one rak'ah with them while they were in the second rak'ah. So I went to give the Adhan and he prohibited me, so we prayed the rak'ah that we had caught up with and we made up the rak'ah that we had missed.

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A group of people from my Umma will continue to be triumphant over the people until the Command of Allah overtakes them while they are still triumphant. (Using translation from Muslim 1921a)

Translation: Mughirah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a dispute, and the Prophet ﷺ made a decision in his favor. Umar said to him, "If you are truthful, bring someone who knows about this." Muhammad ibn Muslimah testified that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had indeed made a decision in his favor.
Mughirah bin Shubah said: “I came to the Prophet and told him of a woman to whom I had to propose marriage. He said: 'Go and look at her, for that is more likely to create love between you.' So I went to a woman among the Ansar and proposed marriage through her parents. I told them what the Prophet had said, and it was as if they did not like that. Then I heard that woman, behind her curtain, say: 'If the Messenger of Allah has told you to do that, then do it, otherwise I adjure you by Allah (not to do so)'. And it was as if she regarded that as a serious matter. So I looked at her and married her.” And he mentioned how well he got along with her. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1866)

there were two co-wives, one of whom struck the other with a tent people and killed her. The Messenger of Allah ruled that the Diyah was to be paid by the 'Asabah of the killer, and that a slave should be given (as diyah) for the child in her womb. The Bedouin Said: "Are you penalizing me for one who neither ate nor drank, or shouted or cried (at the moment of birth)? Such a one should be overlooked/" He said: "Rhyming verse like the verse of the Jahiliyyah," and he ruled that a slave should e given (as Diyah) for the child in her womb.
