The man narrated that the Prophet said. Concerning of the Prophet there, and I felt it was more appropriate for him to narrate the Hadith than I. the man narrated that the Prophet said, concerning Ramadan: 'In it the gates of Heavens are opened and the gates of the Fire are shut, and every devil is fettered. A caller calls out every night: O seeker of good, proceed; O seeker of evil, desist!"' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2108)
[Machine] A man from the companions of Muhammad ﷺ entered upon us. When Uthman saw him, he became saddened and remained silent. He then spoke about Ramadan, saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'In Ramadan, the gates of Hell are closed, the gates of Paradise are opened, and the devils are chained up.' He further said, 'In it, a caller announces, "O seeker of goodness, proceed! O seeker of evil, desist!" until Ramadan is completed.'"
