[Machine] Salama ibn Nubayt narrated from his father that he had performed Hajj with the Prophet ﷺ . He said, "I saw him delivering a sermon on the day of Arafah while riding on his camel."
[Machine] Al-Ashja'i reported that Nubayt ibn Shurayt said, "I was accompanying my father during his farewell pilgrimage when the Prophet ﷺ spoke. I stood near the departing camel and placed my hand on my father's shoulder. I heard him say, 'Which day is this?' They replied, 'This is the day.' He asked, 'Which place is this?' They replied, 'This is the place.' He asked, 'Which month is this?' They replied, 'This is the month.' Then he said, 'Verily, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this place of yours. Have I conveyed the message?' They replied, 'Yes.' Then the Prophet raised his hands and said, 'O Allah! Bear witness, O Allah! Bear witness.'"
[Machine] Salama ibn Nubayt narrated: My father, grandfather, and uncle were with the Prophet ﷺ . He told me that my father said, "I saw the Prophet ﷺ delivering a sermon on the evening of Arafat while riding a red camel." Salama then said, "My father advised me to pray the pre-dawn prayer (Tahajjud). I told him that I couldn't handle it." He replied, "Then perform two units of prayer before Fajr and don't leave them, and do not involve yourself in Fitnah (discord or strife)."
[Machine] Salama ibn Nubayt Al-Ashja'i narrated that his father witnessed the Prophet ﷺ. His father was walking behind his own father during the Farewell Hajj. Salama said, "I asked my father, 'O father, show me the Prophet ﷺ.' He replied, 'Stand and hold onto the saddle.' So, I stood and held onto the saddle. Then he said, 'Look at the man on the red camel who is nodding with his hand holding a stick.'"
