[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: No Muslim dies except that Allah ﷻ admits him to his place in Hellfire either as a Jew or a Christian."

ahmad:19486ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Hammām > Qatādah > Saʿīd b. Abū Burdah And ʿAwn b. ʿUtbah > Umā Shahidā Abū Burdah > ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Bihadhā al-Ḥadīth > ʿAwn

[Machine] Swore to him by Allah, whom there is no god but He, that his father had told him that he heard it from the Prophet ﷺ , and he did not deny it. Sa'id was pleased with Awn for swearing to him.

ahmad:19487ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Hishām > Qatādah > al-Ḥasan > Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, good and evil are two creations that will be set up for people on the Day of Resurrection. As for the good, it will give glad tidings to its followers and promise them good, and as for the evil, it will say to you, 'To you! To you!' There is nothing they can do but be held fast."

ahmad:19488ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Yazīd / Ibn Ibrāhīm > Layth > Abū Burdah > ʿAbdullāh b. Qays

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed prayer with us and then said, "Stay in your places," and then he came to the men and said, "Indeed, Allah commands me to command you to fear Allah, the Exalted, and to say a straight word. Then he went to the women and said to them, "Indeed, Allah commands me to command you to fear Allah, and to say a straight word." He ﷺ said, "Then he returned until he came to the men and said, "When you enter the mosques of the Muslims and their markets, and you have your weapons with you, hold them by their ropes, do not harm anyone with them, lest you cause harm or injury to others."

ahmad:19489ʿAbd al-Ṣamad Ḥiddathanī Abū > Ḥusayn > Ibn Buraydah > Ḥudditht > al-Ashʿarī

[Machine] He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'O Allah, I seek forgiveness from You for what I have advanced and what I have deferred, and what I have hidden and what I have proclaimed. Indeed, You are the One who brings forth and the One who delays, and You have power over all things.'"

ahmad:19490Hushaym > Mujālid > al-Shaʿbī

[Machine] Umar wrote in his will that no worker should be paid more than a year's worth, and appoint al-Ashʿarī, meaning Abū Mūsá, to be in charge for four years.

ahmad:19491ʿAbd al-Ṣamad from my father > Layth > Abū Burdah > Abū Mūsá

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you see a funeral procession of a Jew, Christian, or Muslim, stand up for it as you are standing up for those who are with it from the angels."

ahmad:19492ʿAbd al-Ṣamad And ʿAffān > Ḥammād b. Salamah > ʿAlī b. Zayd > Ḥiṭṭān b. ʿAbdullāh al-Raqāshī > al-Ashʿarī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, before the Hour, there will be turmoil." They asked: "What is the turmoil?" He said: "Killing." They said: "More than how we kill each other normally?" He said: "Yes, we will kill every year more than seventy thousand. However, it will not be your killing of the polytheists, but rather killing among yourselves." They asked: "Will we have intellects at that time?" He said: "No, at that time intellects will be taken away from the people and they will be left like the dust, and most of them will think that they are upon something while they are upon nothing." A'ffan mentioned this hadith and Abu Musa said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I do not find for me and you a way out of it, if it reaches us, except that we leave it as we entered it – without shedding blood or taking wealth."

ahmad:19494Yaḥyá b. Ādam > Isrāʾīl > Abū Isḥāq > al-Aswad

[Machine] "Abu Musa has reminded us that Ali ibn Abi Talib used to pray a prayer that we used to pray with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Sometimes we would forget it, and sometimes we would intentionally leave it. He would say Allahu Akbar every time he bowed, every time he raised up, and every time he prostrated."

ahmad:19495ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd > Saʿīd b. Abū Ayyūb > a man from Quraysh

The Prophet ﷺ said: After the grave sins which Allah has prohibited the greatest sin is that a man dies while he has debt due from him and does not leave anything to pay it off, and meets Him with it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3342)

ahmad:19497Muḥammad b. ʿUbayd > al-Aʿmash > Shaqīq

I was sitting with 'Abdullah and Abu Musa that they reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ having said: Prior to the Last Hour, there would be a time when knowledge would be taken away, and ignorance would take its place and there would be bloodshed on a large scale. (Using translation from Muslim 2672a)

We will leave them as we entered, without shedding blood or taking any possessions.'"

ahmad:19504ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Qatādah > Yūnus b. Jubayr > Ḥiṭṭān b. ʿAbdullāh al-Raqāshī > Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī Ṣallá Biʾaṣḥābih Ṣalāh Fadhakar al-Ḥadīth

[Machine] That Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari led his companions in prayer, and mentioned the hadith and said, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us and explained our Sunnah and taught us our prayers. He said, 'When you pray, straighten your rows, and then let one of you lead you in prayer.'"

ahmad:19505ʿAbd al-Razzāq > al-Thawrī > Qays b. Muslim > Ṭāriq b. Shihāb > Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to my tribe's land. When the Hajj season came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Hajj and I also performed Hajj. I went to him while he was at Al-Abtah and he asked me, "How did you perform the Ihram, O Abdullah ibn Qais?" I said, "Labbaik (Here I am), responding to your call for Hajj, just like the Hajj of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." He said, "You have done well." Then he asked, "Did you offer a sacrifice?" I said, "No, I did not." He said, "Go and perform Tawaf around the Kaaba and between Safa and Marwa, then shave or trim your hair." So, I did as he commanded and visited a woman from my tribe. She washed my head with Hithmi (a type of plant) and then I performed Ihram for Hajj on the day of Tarwiyah. I continued to give people fatwas (religious rulings) according to what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me, until he passed away. Then, it was the time of Abu Bakr, then the time of Umar. While I was standing at the Black Stone or Al-Maqam, giving people fatwas according to what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me, a man came to me, approached me, and said, "Do not rush in giving your fatwas, for the Commander of the Believers (Umar) has introduced something new in the rituals." I said to the people, "Whoever I have given a fatwa concerning the rituals before, should pay attention. The Commander of the Believers is coming, so wait for him to arrive." Umar then came and I said to him, "O Commander of the Believers, did you introduce something new in the rituals?" I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he was encamping at Batha. He said to me: Did you intend to perform Hajj? I said: Yes. He again said: With what intention have you entered into the state of Ihram (for Ifrad, Qiran or Tamattu'). I said: I pronounced Talbiya (I have entered into the state of Ihram ) with that very aim with which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is pronouncing Talbiya. He (the Holy Prophet) said; You have done well. Then circumambulate the House and run between al-Safa' and al-Marwa' and put off Ihram (as you have not brought the sacrificial animals along with you). So I circumambulated the House, and ran between al-Safa' and al-Marwa' and then came to a woman of the tribe of Qais and she rid my head of the lice. I again put on Ihram for Hajj. and continued giving religious verdict (according to this practice) till during the Caliphate of Umar (Allah be pleased with him) when a person said to him: Abu Musa, or Abdullah b. Qais, exercise restraint in delivering some religious verdict of yours, for you do not know what has been introduced after you by the Commander of the Believers in the rites (of Hajj). Thereupon he said: 0 people, whom we gave the religious verdict (concerning putting off Ihram ) they should wait, for the Commander of the Believers is about to come to you, and you should follow him. Umar (Allah be pleased with him) then came and I made a mention of it to him. whereupon he said: If we abide by the Book of Allah (we find) the Book of Allah has commanded us to complete the (. Hajj and 'Umra), and if we abide by the Sunnah of Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we find that Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not put off Ihram till the sacrificial animal was brought to its end (till it was sacrificed).
