Abu Musa said he fell unconscious and an Umm Walad of his wept. When he woke up, he asked her: "Have you not heard what the Messenger of Allah said?" She said: "He said: 'He is not one of us who raises his voice in lamentation, shaves his head, or rends his garments."" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1865)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever hears of me from my nation, or a Jew, or a Christian, and does not believe in me, will not enter Paradise."
[Machine] "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to walk and then veered towards a wall in a corner. He urinated, then said, 'The children of Israel used to follow it when one of them urinated and got some of it on him. So, he would wash it with two handfuls of water.' He ﷺ said, 'When one of you wants to urinate, let him retreat from his urine.'"
Surely, the gates of Paradise are under the shadows of the swords. A man in a shabby condition got up and said; Abu Musa, did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say this? He said: Yes. (The narrator said): He returned to his friends and said: I greet you (a farewell greeting). Then he broke the sheath of his sword, threw it away, advanced with his (naked) sword towards the enemy and fought (them) with it until he was slain. (Using translation from Muslim 1902)
[Machine] Abu Musa fainted, so they cried over him. He said, "I am innocent of whoever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is innocent of." They asked his wife about that, and she said, "Anyone who shaves, pierces, or slits."
[Machine] Abu Musa fainted, so they cried for him. He woke up and said, "I disapprove of those who are disapproved by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, such as those who shave, pierce, or scalp."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , stood at the door of a house where some members of the Quraysh were present. He held onto the door handle and said, "Is there no one in this house except the Quraysh?" It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, except for so-and-so, the son of our cousin." He said, "The son of the cousin is from the people of Quraysh." Then he said, "Verily, this matter (leadership) is for the Quraysh as long as they maintain the sanctity. Whenever they act kindly, they are rewarded. When they pass judgment, they are just. When they distribute, they are fair. Whoever does not do so among them shall have the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people upon them. Their spending will not be accepted, and their justice will not be sought."
[Machine] I was sitting with my father Musa and Abdullah, and Abu Musa said, "Did you not hear the saying of Ammar? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me on a task, and I became impure but did not find water. So I rolled on the sand like an animal, then I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned this to him. He said, 'It would have sufficed for you to say a statement and hit his hand on the earth, then wipe each of them with its companion, and then wipe his face with them.' The person with two blind eyes is not permitted to do so."
(one who fights) for displaying his valour; (a man who) fights out of his family pride and (a man who) fights for the sake of show, who amongst these fights in the way of Allah? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who fights that the word of Allah be exalted fights in the way of Allah. (Using translation from Muslim 1904b)

[Machine] "Commit yourselves to this Quran, and by the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more slippery for any of you than a camel's hump. [Machine] Abu Musa gave his will when death approached him. He said, "When you accompany my funeral procession, walk quickly and do not let anyone who is ablaze follow me. Do not place anything on my grave that would separate me from the ground. Do not build a structure on my grave. I bear witness to you that I am free from any haircutting, shaving, or hurting. They asked him, 'Did you hear anything about it?' He said, 'Yes, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' "

"The Prophet [SAW] said: 'The parable of the believer who recites the Qur'an is that of a citron, the taste and smell of which are good. The parable of a hypocrite who reads the Qur'an is that of basil, the smell of which is good but its taste is bitter. And the parable of a hypocrite who does not read the Qur'an is that of a colocynth (bitter-apple), the taste of which is bitter and it has no smell.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5038)

Let us go back.' So we went to him and we said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We came to you seeking mounts, and you took an oath that you would not give us mounts, then you gave us some mounts.' He said: 'By Allah, I did not give you animals to ride, rather Allah gave you them to ride. I, by Allah, if Allah wills, do not swear and then see something better than it, but I offer expiation for what I swore about, and do that which is better.' And I am a source of safety and security to my Companions and when I would go away there would fall to the lot (of my Companions) as they have been promised with and my Companions are a source of security for the Umma and as they would go there would fall to the lot of my Umma as (its people) have been promised. I then attacked Ibn Durayd and killed him, taking the flag back. Afterwards, I returned to the people. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw me carrying the flag, he asked, "O Abu Musa, was Abu 'Amir killed?" I replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." Then, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising his hands and saying, "O Allah, Your slave Abu 'Amir, make him among those who will be raised high on the Day of Resurrection."

The similitude of that guidance and knowledge with which Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, has sent me is that of rain falling upon the earth. There is a good piece of land which receives the rainfall (eagerly) and as a result of it there is grown in it herbage and grass abundantly. Then there is a land hard and barren which retains water and the people derive benefit from it and they drink it and make the animals drink. Then there is another land which is barren. Neither water is retained in it, nor is the grass grown in it. And that is the similitude of the first one who develops the understanding of the religion of Allah and it becomes a source of benefit to him with which Allah sent me. (The second one is that) who acquires the knowledge of religion and imparts it to others. (Then the other type is) one who does not pay attention to (the revealed knowledge) and thus does not accept guidance of Allah with which I have been sent. (Using translation from Muslim 2282)
