ahmad:19540ʿAffān > Shuʿbah > ʿAwf > Khālid al-Aḥdab > Ṣafwān b. Muḥriz > Ughmī > Abū Mūsá Fabakawā ʿAlayh Faʾafāq

[Machine] Abu Musa fainted, so they cried for him. He woke up and said, "I disapprove of those who are disapproved by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, such as those who shave, pierce, or scalp."  

أحمد:١٩٥٤٠حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَوْفٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْأَحْدَبِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ قَالَ

أُغْمِيَ عَلَى أَبِي مُوسَى فَبَكَوْا عَلَيْهِ فَأَفَاقَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَبْرَأُ إِلَيْكُمْ مِمَّنْ بَرِئَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِمَّنْ حَلَقَ أَوْ خَرَقَ أَوْ سَلَقَ

"Abu Musa fell unconscious and they wept for him. He said: 'I say to you the words of disavowal that the messenger of Allah said: He is not one of us who shaves his head (as a sign of mourning), rends his garments, or raises his voice in Lamentation."'

[Machine] Abu Musa fainted, so they cried over him. He said, "I am innocent of whoever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is innocent of." They asked his wife about that, and she said, "Anyone who shaves, pierces, or slits."
