The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came upon me when I was sitting thus: having my left hand behind my back and leaning on the fleshy part of it, and said: Are you sitting in the manner of those with whom Allah is angry? (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4848)
[Machine] He saw a believing slave woman and asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about her. He said, "I have a black Nubian slave girl, should I free her for her sake?" He said, "Bring her to me." So he called her and she came. He said to her, "Who is your Lord?" She said, "Allah." He said, "Who am I?" She said, "The Messenger of Allah." He said, "Set her free, for she is a believer."
“If one who can afford it delays repayment, his honor and punishment become permissible.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2427)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ requested me to recite a poem from the poetry of Umayyah bin Abi Salt. So, I recited it to him and every time I recited a verse, he would say, "It is true," until I recited a hundred verses, and he said, "It is as if he is about to convert (to Islam)."
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : Whenever he would find a man lying on his face without any physical ailment preventing him, he would kick him with his foot and say, "This is the most disliked position for resting in the sight of Allah."
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said, `The neighbor has more right to the home than others.'"
[Machine] "He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'If a person drinks, whip him; and if he drinks again, whip him; and if he drinks again, whip him four or five times; and if he drinks again, kill him.'"
“I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, (what do you think of) land owned by only one person but this land has neighbors?' He said: 'The neighbor has more right to property that is near.' ” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2496)
"O Messenger of Allah, not one else has any share in my land, but there are neighbors." He said: "The neighbor has more right to property that is near." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4703)
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'if one who can afford it delay repayment, his honor and punishment become permissible."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4689)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited poetry to him from Umayyah ibn Abi Salt. He recited a hundred verses, and I did not recite anything without him saying "Yes, yes" until I finished reciting a hundred verses, and he almost submitted.
[Machine] I heard Ash-Sharid saying, "I bear witness that if I had stood with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Arafat, his feet would not have touched the ground until he reached a gathering."
"I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'My mother left a will saying that a slave should be freed on her behalf. I have a Nubian slave girl; will it suffice if I free her on her behalf?' He said: 'Bring her here.' The Prophet said to her: 'Who is your Lord?' She said: 'Allah.' He said: 'Who am I?' She said: 'The Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Set her free , for she is a believer.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3653)
[Machine] I was sitting close to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he asked me, "Do you have any knowledge of the poetry of Umayyah ibn Abi as-Salt?" I replied, "Yes." He then said, "Recite some for me." I recited a verse for him, and he continued to say to me, "Recite more," every time I recited for him, until I recited a hundred verses. Then the Prophet ﷺ fell silent, and I remained silent as well.
[Machine] A man afflicted with leprosy from Thaqeef came to the Prophet ﷺ to pledge allegiance to him. So, I went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. He said, "Bring him to me and inform him that I have already pledged allegiance to him, and he should return."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The neighbor has more right to be treated kindly." Abu Amer said in his narration, "A person has more right."
"I heard Sharid say: 'I herd the Messenger of Allah say: Whoever kills a small bird for no reason, it will beseech Allah on the Day of Resurrection saying: O Lord, so and so killed me for no reason. And he did not kill me for any beneficial purpose."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4446)
[Machine] I bear witness that I have accompanied the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and his feet did not touch the ground until he reached a gathering, and he said once, "If I were to stand with the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , in Arafat, his son Abdullah said: My father said: that my soul stood with the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , so I fulfilled his wishes from his book."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ followed a man from Thaqeef until he stumbled on his trail, and then he took his cloak. The man said, "Lift up your garment." The man lifted up his garment, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "All of Allah's creation is good." The man's garment was not seen except up to his calves, until he died.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was lying on his face, and he said, "This is the most detested position for lying to Allah ﷻ."
“There was a leper among the delegation of Thaqif. The Prophet ﷺ sent word to him: ‘Go back, for we have accepted your oath of allegiance.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3544)
[Machine] He heard Ash-Sharid say: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observing a man dragging his garment, so he hurried towards him or stumbled upon him and said, 'Lift up your garment and fear Allah.' He replied, 'I have a disability with my knees.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Lift up your garment, for surely all of Allah's creation is good and what was seen of that man was nothing except his garment reaching to the middle of his shins or to his shins.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ tapped me on the back and said, "Do you have anything from the poetry of Umayyah?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Recite some to me." So, I recited a verse to him. He said, "Continue." And he kept saying, "Continue" until I recited a hundred verses.
“I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, (what do you think of) land owned by only one person but this land has neighbors?' He said: 'The neighbor has more right to property that is near.' ” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2496)
