Forbidding unlawful earnings, tattooing, and usury
[AI] I saw my father buy a cupper, and he ordered that the cupping instruments be broken. He said: I asked him about that, and he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the price of blood, the price of a dog, and the earnings of a prostitute; and he cursed the woman who tattoos and the woman who seeks tattooing, the one who consumes usury and the one who pays it, and he cursed the image-maker.

Seeking blessing from the Prophet’s ﷺ ablution water
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out in the midday heat. He performed ablution, and the people began wiping themselves with the leftover water from his ablution. Then he prayed Zuhr as two rakahs, and in front of him was a short spear.

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ led us in prayer at Mina. He planted a short spear in front of him, then prayed two rakahs with us.
"I saw Bilal calling the Adhan, and turning, and his (face) was following here and there, and his (index) fingers were in his ears, and Messenger of Allah was in a small red tent" - "I think," he (one of the narrators) said, "it was made from a hide" - so Bilal went out in front of him with an Anazah which he planted (in the ground) at Batha. Messenger of Allah prayed facing it, and a dog and a donkey passed in front of him; he was wearing a red Hullah, and it is as if I am now looking at the radiance of his shins." Sufyan said: "We think that it was a Hibrah." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 197)
The Prophet ﷺ prayed facing a spear
[AI] I saw a red leather tent belonging to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I saw Bilal come out with water for ablution to pour it out. The people rushed toward it, and whoever got some of it wiped himself with it, while whoever did not get any took some of the moisture from his companion's hand. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ come out wearing a red garment, with it tucked up, and I saw Bilal bring out a spear. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed facing it, while animals and people passed behind it.
Praying toward a short spear as a sutrah
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed facing a short spear, or something like it, and the road was behind it.

The Prophet ﷺ praying with a spear as sutrah at al-Abtah
[AI] I came to the Prophet ﷺ at al-Abtah while he was in a red tent. He said: Bilal came out with the leftover water from his wudu, and among the people were those who sprinkled themselves with it and those who took some. He said: Then Bilal gave the adhan, and I kept following his mouth like this and like this, meaning to the right and to the left. He said: Then a spear was planted for him. He said: Then the Prophet ﷺ came out wearing a red cloak, or a red suit, and it was as if I could see the shine of his shins. He led us in praying Zuhr or Asr, two rakahs, toward the spear. A woman, a dog, and a donkey would pass, and they were not prevented. Then he continued praying two rakahs until he came to Medina. Waki said once: He prayed Zuhr two rakahs and Asr two rakahs.

A donkey and a woman would pass behind it. Then the people stood up and began taking his hand and wiping their faces with it. He said, "So I took his hand and placed it on my face, and it was colder than snow and more fragrant in scent than musk."
Breaking the cupper’s tools and forbidden earnings
[AI] He bought a slave who was a cupper, and he ordered his cupping instruments to be broken, so they were broken. I said to him, "Are you breaking them?" He said: Yes. "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the price of blood, the price of a dog, and the earnings of a prostitute, and he cursed the one who consumes usury and the one who pays it, the woman who tattoos and the woman who gets tattooed, and he cursed the image-maker."
I saw Messenger of Allah ﷺ having some whiteness (in hair) at this place, and Zuhair placed one of his fingers at his chin. Juhaifa was asked how old he had been at that time. He said: I made arrows and put feathers to them (i. e. I had passed my childhood). (Using translation from Muslim 2342)

The nearness of the Hour to the Prophet’s mission
