He (Muhammad ibn Salim) said, 'I prayed with him (Uthman) at Al-Abtah two Rak'ahs.' Abu Ishaq said, 'It was said to him (Muhammad ibn Salim), What were you on that day?' He (Muhammad ibn Salim) said, 'I was reconciling between the different tribes and their disagreements.'"
أَنَّهُ «صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ آمَنَ مَا كَانَ النَّاسُ وَأَكْثَرَهُ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ» قَالَ «وَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ بِالْأَبْطَحِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ» قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قِيلَ لَهُ مِثْلُ مَنْ كُنْتَ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ «أَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ أَبْرِي النَّبْلَ وَأَرِيشُهُ»
