[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is the highest, then he is in the way of Allah."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is the highest, then he is in the way of Allah."

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! What kind of fighting is in Allah's cause? (I ask this), for some of us fight because of being enraged and angry and some for the sake of his pride and haughtiness." The Prophet ﷺ raised his head (as the questioner was standing) and said, "He who fights so that Allah's Word (Islam) should be superior, then he fights in Allah's cause."
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا الْقِتَالُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَحَدَنَا يُقَاتِلُ غَضَبًا وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً فَرَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ وَمَا رَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ رَأْسَهُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَائِمًا فَقَالَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ
I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Anyone whose feet are covered with dust in Allah's cause, shall be saved by Allah from the Hell-Fire."
أَدْرَكَنِي أَبُو عَبْسٍ وَأَنَا أَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah's Cause?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who fights that Allah's Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah's Cause."
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِلْمَغْنَمِ وَالرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِلذِّكْرِ وَالرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِيُرَى مَكَانُهُ فَمَنْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
A bedouin asked the Prophet, "A man may fight for the sake of booty, and another may fight so that he may be mentioned by the people, and a third may fight to show his position (i.e. bravery); which of these regarded as fighting in Allah's Cause?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who fights so that Allah's Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights for Allah's Cause."
قَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِلْمَغْنَمِ وَالرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِيُذْكَرَ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيُرَى مَكَانُهُ مَنْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ: «مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهْوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ۔»

Messenger of Allah, one man fights fgr the spoils of war; another fights that he may be remembered, and another fights that he may see his (high) position (achieved as a result of his valour in fighting). Which of these is fighting in the cause of God? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who fights so that the word of Allah is exalted is fighting in the way of Allah.
أَنَّ رَجُلاً أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِلْمَغْنَمِ وَالرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِيُذْكَرَ وَالرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِيُرَى مَكَانُهُ فَمَنْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ أَعْلَى فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
(one who fights) for displaying his valour; (a man who) fights out of his family pride and (a man who) fights for the sake of show, who amongst these fights in the way of Allah? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who fights that the word of Allah be exalted fights in the way of Allah.
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ رِيَاءً أَىُّ ذَلِكَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Who fights that the word of Allah be exalted fights in the way of Allah.
أَنَّ رَجُلاً سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْقِتَالِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ غَضَبًا وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً قَالَ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَيْهِ وَمَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَيْهِ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَائِمًا فَقَالَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Abu Musa said “A beduoin came to the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ and said “One man fights for reputation, one fights for being praised, one fights for booty and one for his place to be seen. (Which of them is in Allaah’s path?)”. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ replied “The one who fights that Allaah’s word may have pre-eminence is in Allaah’s path.”
أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يُقَاتِلُ لِلذِّكْرِ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيُحْمَدَ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيَغْنَمَ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيُرَى مَكَانُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ حَتَّى تَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ أَعْلَى فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a man who fights out of bravery, one who fights out of protection (for himself or others), and one who fought to be seen. Which of them is in the cause of Allah ? He said: 'Whoever fought so that the Word of Allah is supreme, then he is in Allah's cause.'"
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ رِيَاءً فَأَىُّ ذَلِكَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
from the Prophet ﷺ: "For whomever I am his mawla (leader) then Ali is his mawla."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلاَهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلاَهُ
"A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'A man fights for fame, or he fights for the spoils of war, or he fights to show off. Who is the one who is fighting in the cause of Allah?' He said: 'The one who fights so that the word of Allah will be supreme is the one who is fighting in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.'"
جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِيُذْكَرَ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيَغْنَمَ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيُرَى مَكَانُهُ فَمَنْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ
“The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a man who fights to prove his courage, or out of pride and honour for his close relatives, or to show off. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever fights so that the Word of Allah may be supreme is the one who (is fighting) in the cause of Allah.’”
سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ رِيَاءً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
“Any Muslim who fights in the cause of Allah for the time between two milkings of a she-camel, he will be guaranteed Paradise.”
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fights in the cause of Allah and endures as much as the milking of a camel, Paradise is guaranteed for him, as much as the quantity of its milk for the one who milks it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَهُوَ قَدْرُ مَا يدُرُّ حَلَبَهَا لِمَنْ حَلَبَهَا»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever dirties his feet in the path of Allah, Allah will forbid him from the Fire."
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If it were not for the migration (to Medina), I would have been one of the Ansar (the helpers of Medina)."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَءًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ»
the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever is silent, he is saved.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَمَتَ نَجَا»
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "But for the emigration, I would have been one of the Ansar: and if the people took their way in a valley (or a mountain pass), I would take the Ansar's valley or the mountain pass." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7244)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever dies upon something, Allah will resurrect him upon it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ بَعَثَهُ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever soils his feet in the cause of Allah, they will be forbidden upon the Hellfire."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَهُمَا حَرَامٌ عَلَى النَّارِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever embarks on a journey in the cause of Allah and has his feet covered with dust, Allah will make them forbidden for the Fire."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ حَرَّمَهُمَا اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever starts hostility."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ بَدَا جَفَا
"I entered upon 'Abdullah bin 'Ukaim Abu Mabad Al-Juhani to visit him, while he had Humrah. I said:'Why don't you hang something?' He said: 'Death is better than that. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever hangs something, he is entrusted to it." Another chain reports a similar narration. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2072)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَعَلَّقَ شَيْئًا وُكِلَ إِلَيْهِ

Abu Dawud reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “Anyone who sets his slave girl free and then marries her, will have a double reward.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2053)

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever kills, the spoils are his.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2838)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَتَلَ فَلَهُ السَّلَبُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Whoever dirties his feet in the path of Allah, Allah will prohibit the Fire from touching him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever I am his guardian, Ali is his guardian."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كُنْتُ وَلِيَّهُ فَعَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّهُ
Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "Whoever does not call upon Allah, He will be angry with him." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3827)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَا يَدْعُو اللَّهَ يَغْضَبْ عَلَيْهِ»
The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone kills a man whom he grants protection prematurely, Allah will forbid him to enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2760)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا فِي غَيْرِ كُنْهِهِ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا كَرِهَ اللَّهُ مِنْكَ شَيْئًا فَلَا تَفْعَلْهُ إِذَا خَلَوْتَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whosoever dirties his feet in the path of Allah, Allah has made forbidden for the Fire to touch them."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَهُمَا اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً وَيُقَاتِلُ رِيَاءً فَأَنَّى ذَلِكَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever I am his guardian, then Ali is his guardian."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كُنْتُ وَلِيُّهُ فَعَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّهُ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prays the morning prayer is under the protection of Allah, and Allah does not ask anything from his protection."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللهِ فَلَا يَطْلُبَنَّكُمُ اللهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ ذِمَّتِهِ»
[AI] That he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever I am his guardian, then Ali is his guardian."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever finds it difficult to settle in one place, should migrate to Oman."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعَذَّرَتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّيْعَةُ فَعَلَيْهِ بِعُمَانٍ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Whoever prays the Fajr prayer, he is under the protection of Allah and his account is upon Allah."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللهِ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللهِ»
[AI] From the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Whoever dirties his feet in the cause of Allah, Allah will make the Fire forbidden for him."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone's last words are "There is no god but Allah" he will enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3116)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»
