[Machine] I was at the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man said, "I don't mind doing any deed after embracing Islam except for rebuilding the Masjid al-Haram." Another person said, "The last Jihad in the cause of Allah is better than what you said." So Allah revealed, "Do you make the providing of drinking water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of al-Masjid al-Haram equal to someone who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."
[Machine] The translation of the given sentence is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There is no migration after the conquest, but there is jihad and intention.'"
"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'the Shaitan sits in the paths of the son of Adam. He sits waiting for him, in the path to Islam, and he says: Will you accept Islam, and leave your religion, and the religion of your forefathers? But he disobeys him and accepts Islam. Then he sits waiting for him, on the path to emigration, and he says: Will you emigrate and leave behind your land and sky? The one who emigrates is like a horse tethered to a peg. But he disobeys him and emigrates. Then he sits, waiting for him, on the path to Jihad, and he says: Will you fight in Jihad when it will cost you your life and your wealth? You will fight and be killed, and your wife will remarry, and your wealth will be divided. But he disobeys him and fights in Jihad.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever does that, then he had a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to paradise. Whoever is killed, he has a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to Paradise. If he is drowned, he has a right from Allah that He will admit him to paradise, or whoever is thrown by his mount and his neck is broken, he had a right from Allah that he will admit him to Paradise.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3134)
[Machine] I sat among a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and I asked them, "Which of you goes to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asks him, 'Which deeds are most beloved to Allah?' They suggested that it would be better if one of us asked him. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent for us and appointed a man among us to lead us. When we gathered around him, some of us leaned towards each other, wondering why the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had sent for us. We were afraid that something might have happened to us. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited to us the verse, "Glorify Allah, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and He is the Almighty, the All-Wise. O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?" He recited from the beginning to the end of the chapter, then he recited from the beginning to the end of the chapter of Yahya, and then he recited from the beginning to the end of the chapter of Al-Awza'i, and then Al-Walid recited from the beginning to the end of the chapter.
[Machine] "While we were with the Messenger of Allah, we heard people asking him, 'Which deeds are the best, O Messenger of Allah?' The Messenger of Allahﷺ replied, 'Belief in Allah and His Messenger, striving in His cause, and performing an accepted Hajj.' Then, he heard a call in the valley saying, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.' The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, 'And I bear witness, and no one bears witness with it except that they are saved from association (polytheism).'"
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, which action is best?" He said, "Faith in Allah and striving in His cause." I asked, "Which slaves are better?" He said, "The ones who are most valuable to their masters and have the highest prices." I said, "But if I am not able to do so?" He said, "Then help a worker or make something for someone lame." I said, "And if I am weak in that?" He said, "Then refrain from evil, for it is a charity that you give to yourself."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The best deeds in the sight of Allah are the ones that are performed with unshakable faith, without any deceit in fighting, and a Hajj that is accepted." Abu Hurairah said: "An accepted Hajj will erase sins committed during one year."
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked: 'Which deed is the most virtuos ? And which deed is the best ?' He ﷺ said: 'Faith in Allah and His Messenger.' It was said: 'Then what ?' He said: 'Jihad is the hump (the most prominent) of the deeds.' Then what O Messenger of Allah ? He said: 'Then Hajj Mabrur.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1658)
“Which of the people is best?” He said: “A man who strives in Jihad in the cause of Allah with himself and his wealth.” He said: “Then who?” He said: “A man in a mountain pass who worships Allah and leaves the people from his evil.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3978)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will come a time upon people when the best of people will be someone who takes hold of his horse's reins in the cause of Allah. Every time he hears the call to battle, he mounts his horse and seeks death as his goal. And there will be a man in a valley among these valleys who offers the Islamic prayers and gives charity, but does not harm others except for his own goodness."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came across a man wearing a mask made of iron. The man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, should I fight or should I embrace Islam?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Embrace Islam first, then fight." The man embraced Islam and later engaged in battle and was killed. The Prophet ﷺ said, "This person did little but will receive a great reward."
Leaving (for Jihad) in the way of Allah in the morning or in the evening (will merit a reward) better than the world and all that is in it. (Using translation from Muslim 1880)
[Machine] "He was in a trip, so they hurried to the coast. Then it was said 'there is no harm'. So the people dispersed, except for Abu Hurairah who stood still. Then a man passed by him and said, 'What is stopping you, Abu Hurairah?' He replied, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Standing in the cause of Allah for an hour is better than praying the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) at the Kaaba.'"
[Machine] He has a horse, O Abu Abdullah, ride it, for Allah has burdened you. Jabir said, "I will fix my ride and be independent of my people." I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "Whoever raises his feet for the sake of Allah, Allah will forbid the Fire upon him." Malik found his words astonishing, so he went until he reached the place where his voice could be heard. He called out to him in a loud voice, "O Abu Abdullah, ride it, for Allah has burdened you." Jabir recognized the intention behind raising his voice and said, "I will fix my ride and be independent of my people." I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "Whoever raises his feet for the sake of Allah, Allah will forbid the Fire upon him." So people jumped off their animals and we did not see a day with more people walking than him.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whosoever dirties his feet in the path of Allah, Allah has made forbidden for the Fire to touch them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "In the heart of a believer, dust from the path of Allah and the fragrance of Hellfire cannot coexist, and faith and envy cannot coexist."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The smoke of Hellfire and dust on the path of Allah do not combine in the respiratory system of a Muslim."
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept near me one day, then he woke up smiling. I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what has made you smile?’ He said: ‘People of my nation who were shown to me (in my dream) riding across this sea like kings on thrones.’ I said: ‘Supplicate to Allah to make me one of them.’” So he prayed for her. Then he slept again, and did likewise, and she said the same as she said before, and he replied in the same manner. She said: “Pray to Allah to make me one of them,” and he said: “You will be one of the first ones.” He said: “Then she went out with her husband, ‘Ubadah bin Samit, as a fighter, the first time that the Muslims crossed the sea with Mu’awiyah bin Abu Sufyan. On their way back, after they had finished fighting, they stopped in Sham. An animal was brought near for her to ride it, but it threw her off, and she died.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2776)

Abu Saʿid, whoever cheerfully accepts Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion and Muhammad as his Apostle is necessarily entitled to enter Paradise. He (Abu Saʿid) wondered at it and said: Messenger of Allah, repeat it for me. He (the Messenger of Allah) did that and said: There is another act which elevates the position of a man in Paradise to a grade one hundred (higher), and the elevation between one grade and the other is equal to the height of the heaven from the earth. He (Abu Saʿid) said: What is that act? He replied: Jihad in the way of Allah! Jihad in the way of Allah! (Using translation from Muslim 1884)

[Machine] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior will have the reward equal to that of the warrior, and whoever supports a warrior's family will have the reward equal to that of the warrior." Ibn Shihab then informed me that Busr ibn Sa'id told him.
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, "Whoever prepares a warrior for the sake of Allah or supports his family in his absence, he will be rewarded equally, without any decrease in his reward. And whoever provides food to break the fast for a fasting person, he will be rewarded equally, without any decrease in his reward."
"The sanctity of the wives of the Mujahidin to those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their mothers. There is no man among those who stay behind who takes on the responsibility of looking after the wife of one of the Mujahidin (and betrays him) but he (the betrayer) will be made to stand before him on the Day Resurrection and it will be said: 'O So-and-so, this is so-and-so, take whatever you want from his good deeds.'" Then the Prophet ﷺ turned to his Companions and said: "What do you think: Will he leave him any of his good deeds?" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3191)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The honor and sanctity of the women of the Mujahideen is like that of their mothers. And whoever remains behind and does wrong to his family after the departure of a Mujahid, he will have to answer for it on the Day of Judgment. It will be said to him, 'This is your responsibility in your family for the harm you caused, so take from his good deeds.'"
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "A man fights for pride and haughtiness another fights for bravery, and another fights for showing off; which of these (cases) is in Allah's Cause?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "The one who fights that Allah's Word (Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah's Cause." (See Hadith No. 65, Vol. 4) (Using translation from Bukhārī 7458)
A man said: Messenger of Allah, a man wishes to take part in jihad in Allah's path desiring some worldly advantage? The Prophet ﷺ said: He will have not reward. The people thought it terrible, and they said to the man: Go back to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, for you might not have made him understand well. He, therefore, (went and again) asked: Messenger of Allah, a man wishes to take part in jihad in Allah's path desiring some worldly advantage? He replied: There is no reward for him. They again said to the man: Return to the Messenger of Allah. He, therefore, said to him third time. He replied: There is no reward for him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2516)
"Whoever fights seeking only an 'Iqbal, then he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3139)
[Machine] "A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, which type of jihad is the best?' He replied, 'Striving with your wealth and sacrificing your life.'"
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was praying with us, and when he ended his prayer, he requested, "O Allah, grant me the best of what You grant to Your righteous servants." When the Prophet ﷺ finished praying, he asked, "Who was the one who requested earlier?" The man replied, "It was me, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "When your horse is injured and you are martyred in the cause of Allah."
