"Whoever fights seeking only an 'Iqal, then he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3139)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَزَا وَلَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى»
Whoever goes to battle seeking only ˹spoils of war˺, then he will have ˹the reward for˺ what he intended.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا وَهُوَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ عِقَالاً فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى
"The Prophet ﷺ was in Makkah, then Hijrah was ordered, so the following was revealed to him: Say: 'My Lord! Let my entry be good, and likewise my exit be good. And grant me from You a helping authority (17:80).'"
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِالْهِجْرَةِ فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ ( قُلْ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا )
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights in the cause of Allah intending only to get an 'Iqal, he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3138)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever goes out for the sake of Allah and intends in his expeditions nothing but ˹spoils˺, then he will have what he intended."

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights in the cause of Allah intending only to get an 'Iqal, he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3138)

[Machine] The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever goes for battle without intending anything other than capturing the spoils of war, then he will have what he intended."
